Please make guild showcase regular feature. Many of us are looking for guilds. For me, I'm looking for a pvp active guild that will base at a coastal node for sea/piracy as well as land content.
AOC is going to give us a true platform to actually have a MMORPG where we the players create our RPG - that is not to say FREEDOM done incorrectly, where ppl will just do the easier or most influencial behaviour. No, it will give light limits like RL - want to do a crime? Pay the price. Effectively. What will happen is, people who want to commit to being Spys or Agents. Will have the opportunity to make that an actual proffession. And thus necessitate, the counter spy agent. And so on. All in all, AOC will let you delv into a world and BE who you WANT. But with fair and logical limits, that does not take away from your freedom to be who you want, but makes sure you are ready for the counters and challenges it will come with. I believe a truly vibrant community will have a mix of everything - but balance will be upheld by the majority. Lets rock this show! :D Hey Nexus Leader! I too roll with a small group preparing! >:}. Well said 🫡 players can become things outside of the game given roles and truly make this world feel alive. Im lowkey excited to see the first BIG drama or espionage on a server
Makes me wonder what kind of node discords will be out there. Would like to see a typical battle of dwarves vs orcs. That would be really cool if there were guilds focused around that.
oh yea? Would be sweet if there was like a video of a current list of guilds like that. Or just some known guilds around for newbies. Hard out here scrolling through huge list of recruitment threads and forums have those forum trolls. @@Nyce-Gaming
The upcoming stream about Commissions is very important. Commissions directly impact the node and the game play of every player in the node. Commissions will directly affect YOUR game play. The Commissions stream IS Nodes-3.
It’s definitely an important aspect of gameplay, but hasn’t been marketed as a node stream really. I’m curious on what we’ll get because indeed it’s quite important and will be a core gameplay loop or daily. IMO however it was the least requested stream. Nodes 3 is a big shoe to fill 👀 here’s hoping!
Have her re-watch this and count how many times she says UMMM. The reason I say this is it come across when ever someone is speaking to a group that if they have to use filler words like UMMM and LIKE that they dont know either what they want to say or what they are talking about they are knowledgeable in it. I only say this as to help her to speak with more conviction when she does speak. As a guild leader or any leader even if you talk slow but you speak without filler words people will look at you listen to you in a better light then someone saying ummm and like all the time. It is hard to do at 1st, but if you wish to fix it fast then do what I did and have someone stand around you with a rolled up paper and hit you every time you say a filler word and you will learn to not use them much faster. I hope this helps her in and out of her guild.
So they are mainly a Dad/casuals guild with lots of supports ? And probably a general guild with no focus. She say competitive, but everything screams is casual. Imho And which competitive guild is a direct democracy?! You can have officers, consultants but otherwise is kinda a dictatorship because that works better

Not sure if I did a poor job explaining, I value the opinions and directions of my members but have never shyed away from stating that I run my community like a dictatorship in order to fast track content. We are a community that doesnt sacrifice our enjoyment for success, we get along while also fucking shit up, though this isn't the standard for many other competitive communities, this is how we operate. If you have any other points to make, feel free! I'll be ready to respond.
@@NexusGuild Like it's not against you specifically. But I keep seeing hyper casual takes by lots of people who pass by (AoC youtube feed), and I know I'm not the only one feeling the same. One example because it concerns you is "We are a community that doesnt sacrifice our enjoyment for success, we get along while also fucking shit up". If you don't give 100%, I wouldn't want anything to do with your guild, and I'd be surprised if other serious guilds were your allies. Of course, it's all a comparison: you're going to crush the weebs guilds or the grandpas who do RP. But to say you'll do more is probably a delusion. And I say this from experience, I've seen plenty of them, I've tried to make alliances with "communities" turned into guilds, and I've seen that their gameplay wasn't in line with their ambitions. And of course high-level PvP will also be politics on AoC, because only you will be eaten alive, a bit like New World. All the guilds that talked about wanting to do egalitarian stuff were rebuffed for months. The dictatorships still rule the game, the others just have the battleground. It's just a comment on youtube, we'd have forgotten about it by tomorrow. I'm going to start my own only AoC guild too, but on EU servers, we'll never see each other anyway. I just gave my opinion, yes it's not neutral, maybe aggresive, you do what you want with it. I only see casuals on the AoC youtube at the moment period
