- UNCUT Madison presents 'Thank You, Dana', a tribute to Dana Rettke. The first ever 5x First Team All-American, the National Player of the Year, and a National Champion. However, here's to a legacy that extends far beyond the volleyball court.

No one would have ever said this to Dana , but she was carrying the weight of the Badger program on her shoulders. There were other great players for the badgers that stood in her shoes, but they all fell short.
She was able to break through and I remember the announcer saying give it to Dana as they finished off Nebraska for the title. I always looked at the comments on youtube after each match and so many of the opponents felt that Dana and the Badgers would choke it one more time, so she had to come through to become the best of the best.
Not happy at all that they beat the Huskers on the Championship but she is one hell of a player and after watching her play all those years it’s obvious that she’s also one hell of a human being very fun to watch and for that I’ll respect her forever…
WTF is a "Brand Manager"... be a libero....

@Katie Neumann Don't get me wrong... love Student Athletes... hell- 5 1/2 years I got my degree (mechanical engineering)- and that was TOUGH - and I only rattled pans in a restaurant!

Yes, congrats on coming back another year with 4 others. 5 super seniors to win a title against 3 freshmen. Biggest asterisk championship in the history of sports. These 5 players should have never been on the court. They weren't good enough to win it in the normal allotted time but dammit they were barely good enough with that 5th and 6th year to win it. Bet they feel good about having 5 more years of college experience and beating 3 true freshmen for a title. Lol if i was wisconsin id be embarrassed! Nebraska had 2 super seniors, they both played half a season due to injury and benching. Not 4 starting super seniors with the 5th rotating in.

Wow! Why so fuc…… bitter?!? You’d act like they were the only seniors to come back! They beat a team that wasn’t just 3 freshman seems to me Nebraska had a 5th year senior All American too! Oh and take your wonderful attitude and have a Happy New Year
No one on Wisconsin's team had a 6th year. The only player that had a 6th year was Nebraska's Lauren Stivrins. Wisconsin also had 2 freshman starting. Both teams had veterans, and both teams had inexperienced players
