Bruh we have to know what that bike is now, he left us with such a cliff hanger, Is he riding something highly modified or is it just 250 shrouds on a 450 but why put 250 shrouds on it. It's probably a matched hp and wight 450 so that it's more reliable than the 250 because if he rode a cranked 250 he would blow it up due to high hours. 450 practice bike with 250 shrouds to show he rides 250 idk man
Hunter seems like a natural with teaching. Super chill guy and good personality with perfect technique. Can't get much better than that

AJ, Just a couple of things if you come back to this comment section. First, as a parent, hockey player, and hockey coach, I love how much joy you get in teaching others. It says so much about who you are and what you're about.
Also, the fact that Jett and Hunter take the time during the supercross season, where almost all of the top guys are focusing on themselves, to do the same thing, is pretty amazing.
Last, the way that you prioritize is inspiration and makes you a great role model for, not only kids, but people of all ages. We all know that you could take more chances. We all know that you could train a ton more on actual supercross tracks. And, we all know that the talent's there to make the mains if you did. But, even though you're a competitor who's ALWAYS looking to become better, you realize that if you get injured you won't be able to do the other thing that you love...all of the academy stuff.
Anyway, this is a LONG post...but, just wanted to let you know how much respect ALL of us have for you. You're not only doing a ton for the sport at every level, but modeling a lifestyle that everyone can see and respect. Much love man.
I know Jet not in this video, but I seen him in some of your other videos, and its really awesome to see the Lawrence brothers help teach, give advice and spend time with your students. They seem like cool down to earth guys, even though the have the fame
Love these man and the best about it is top industry guys whom are just damn cool and not outwardly overly ego driven. Where I come from in the car racing world some guys win one event or local championship and ya can't tell em nothing haha. Great vibes and lessons as always. 2021 was my first season of riding. This year I'll do some beginner Motos at age 39.

Edit: If anyone is wondering why hunter would be on a 450 it’s because it’s 100x cheaper for a 250 rider to practice on a 450. Mainly because the bike isn’t rung out 100% of the time like the 250s are.
I don't think they care about the cost of rebuilding a bike at factory level .

@@krissimon2502 they get paid to work on bikes and hold a board among many other things but Honda yamaha Suzuki and most other teams don’t want to waste money. We also arnt talking about weather you care or not. We are talking about why most riders practice on a 450 even if they ride a 250. I don’t care if you think they should be on a 250 350 or 450 I’m giving you and others information about why he’s on a 450. Before you say “I don’t care what you are telling me”. You wouldn’t respond at all if you didn’t care but you are welcome for the information :)
All of the dudes that don’t think it’s a 450 need to look at the head of the motor. It’s a unicam. Definitely not a 250

@@jeremyglenn5724 I don't understand how Eli hasn't had any of the big crashes AT ALL this season. I mean, outside of Craig in the 250's, not a single 250 west rider's gotten through a race without a serious crash. Even Hunter going down in those A3 whoops was soooo surprising. Like, Anderson, Sexton and Stewart have the speed... But all keep getting into battles or crashing out (Sexton). Barcia's been consistent, until he's not lol. Webb's just slower this season while Marv is coming in REALLY strong. But, no one has been able to race as fast, AND as consistently, as ET3. Especially with how rough everything this year is, it's amazing.
Even his decision making. Like, Anderson should be right up there with him, but he keeps getting into these dumb battles.
Ya Hunter is a natural at instruction..you can tell his is a real people person...

Great example to have Hunter push and pull you! It made me realize how I can push against the front part of the footpeg to stay forward under acceleration and push back against the rear part of the foot peg to push against the braking forces.
Hunter is such a cool dude! His parents did a great job raising their boys.

AJ. Tokyo Mods in Cali. They put a tune in tune #2-#3. More linear throttle response. It helped get rid of that Honda choppy throttle.

Great videos. AJ you should have known it was a 450, it has a hydraulic clutch. His 250 race bike has a hydraulic clutch maybe that’s why you thought it was a 250. By the way,how did you like the feel of the hydraulic vs your cable clutch on your 250?
Hunters bike is professional set up by the best in the world. I’m sure they make a 250 seem like it could be a 450 .

I wish motocross and Supercross would do a season of everyone on stock bikes. I think it would be so much more exciting to watch and actually fair competition.
Their bikes throttle isn’t as snappy because they use the g2ergo dirt tamer throttles. I have it on my sons 2022 crf 250r and it makes a huge difference.

Hey AJ. I'm very curios to hear your thoughts about his Steg Pegz. I rode with them (off road) for years but recently removed them because I felt like they were forcing me into an improper position and keeping me off of the balls of my feet. I noticed that Hunters were as far back as they go. I didn't know that any MX riders used them. I don't miss them at all.
exactly my question as well, kinda surprised when I noticed them on Hunters bike
I didn’t notice them at all. For Hunter, the new Hondas don’t have anything to grip onto when you drop your heels and get knees back where they belong, so he’s just using them as a point of contact. I have a wing seat on my Honda, so I’m doing the gripping more with my knees
