Singapore celebrates all the major events of the various ethnics groups that make up its population. I happen to be in Singapore just before the Lunar New Year and enjoyed the decorations and watching people prepare for New Year's.

I love Singapore, living in Australia, I've been there quite a few times as I use it as a stopover on the way to Europe. Singapore is my favourite country in Asia, I'll have some more videos about different parts of Singapore coming out in the coming months.
Lovely decorations for the New Year. The Hundred Dragons Hall specifically was impressive. 👍
The Hundred Dragon Hall was amazing, that temple is a new one built in 2007 and it's huge. I only showed the ground floor, there are 4 floors in total.

Singapore always has the best decorations, I've also been there around Divali and that's really lovely. They go all out for Christmas!

I love Singapore because it's so multicultural and they celebrate everything! Each time I visit I get a nice surprise with the decorations, this was my first time seeing the Chinese New Year ones.

The hotel is lovely and the coffee and cake I had was the most expensive coffee and cake I've never eaten! Let's just say you pay for the ambiance and decorations! I have stayed there on one occasion as they had a VERY cheap deal going so I was able to use it for a stopover on my way to Europe. I've never found a deal since so no more stays.😪

Singapore is fantastic the way that it celebrates major festivals, I've been there around Divali too and the city is all lit up (like Christmas in Europe!)

It was pure co-incidence (a good one!) that I was there for the week leading up to Chinese New Year. I didn't actually plan it, months ago I managed to get a really well priced airfare to fly to Singapore so booked it. It was great to see the decorations and especially all the people preparing for their New Year in Chinatown.
