agreed man. Im a newer Metallica (about 15 years) and although I prefer the 80s stuff, Load and reload had some of their best songwriting in there, it just wasnt the old stuff and it wasnt as consistent. A lot of filler in those albums but the highlights were as good as anything from the 80s
@@THENOBODIESREACTS Couldn't disagree with you more. There were some great tracks on Load & ReLoad. Yes, St. Anger was a bit of a dud, but in a 40-year career they can be forgiven one. Death Magnetic was quite good, I just wish they hadn't crushed the volume levels. And Hardwired is one of their strongest albums in my opinion. If you don't like their newer stuff that's fine, but saying things like "everyone knows" is just flat-out wrong and presumptuous as hell.

I understand some people not liking load and reload at the end of the day it’s a different feel then their old school songs but too not love hardwired and death magnetic or atleast listen to them is a crime!
