thanks so much for taking us all on this trip.....beautiful water. shallow water flowing over rocks reminds me of 1950S as a a kid playing in the crick ....(the Kinnikinnic River, Milwaukee) still remember the smell of cold water running over the rocky shoals....GREAT VIDEO.....

Hey Justin when using the whopper plopper try pausing your retrieve every now and then over places you feel like would hold fish. I’ve noticed the bass strike after those pauses it’s just something about the plopper stopping above them and starting back up again that triggers a bite. Love these new creek and small river adventure videos fishing bodies of water like this is like no other

Props for getting out of the comfort zone with these floats. Consider using a paddle leash. Might save ya a headache. When you have to walk your kayak in the stream it’s also very helpful to have something like an old dog leash attached to the prow or stern to hold the boat by.

It's good to see you tryin this out. I Lake fish some & I watch all your vids cause I love fishing and cat fishing. But I mostly fish rivers as this, Bream and Bass. Lower Flint River in Alabama has great Catfish as well as other rivers here. I love the seclusion of small river fishing, me the river and the woods. I anchor off in a deep pools and stay all day cat fishing. I use small Sip jack and shad the same as Lake cat fishing but on a small scale.
