It's fantastic, and so was your final example of a Medieval riff. The stuff you could come up with based off of Kingdom Come could be epic.

Great stuff. Don't know the first thing about theory, but although these chord progressions feel clearly med-evil, mouha-ha-ha, once played in a modern context they also seem awfully familiar from prog rock in general, and even remind me a lot of the Alan Parsons of my youth (in 1812).

Mixolydian is probably the most Medieval sounding, since that b7 is so idk "European"? You can even do a Dominant 2 5 1, off of G Mixolydian (with A Minor and Dorian). For some reason that combination brings out that antiquated vibe, probably the voicings.

In January I asked God to speak to me and the same night I had a dream and i heard somebody talk to me while I was on my bed and my whole body shook as if I was being been struck with thunder throughout my entire being abd after I turned around and saw a man in white clothes stare at me face to face and his face was like a galaxy full of stars to best describe it in the natural. I floated backwards with so much love hitting me and gladness it was amazing, so the next day I woke up and my life is still surrendered to Jesus to this day and me and Jesus go out into town and i've seen people healed instantly when I prayed for them and saved because of Jesus and his great love for us all. If anybody wants to know if God is real I encourage you to ask hin for yourself because he isn't fake or evil but actually he loves you and wants you to have eternal life.
"Ask and ye shall recieve, seek and ye shall find, knock and it shall be opened to you."

He's using reverb on Acoustic and than adds something that sounds like a simulated flute or penny whistle, I'd suggest just buying a penny whistle for $15, D is the standard key but you can buy different keys that are different sizes even larger than low D which are used along with Irish Ullean pipes in soundtracks like Braveheart and Titanic.
Generally the idea is to make your guitar sound something like an Irish Bouzouki or Octave Mandolin and use some sort of wind instrument to accompany it. See Corvus Corax and Eluveitie for the diversity of such trad instruments

You are correct, but the minor v chord was rarely used, at least not until the Romantic period. Instead the V chord was formed from the harmonic minor form of the scale, since it contains the raised leading note which resolves more satisfyingly onto the tonic.
