  • It's a game of Fluxx! Andy and Kristin play Looney Labs' classic card game of ever changing rules. Get it at your Friendly Local Game Store (FLGS) or at looneylabs.com/games/fluxx

    I played this my first year at band camp, and now have bought a deck gosh....like 18 years later? Any way, I'm bringing it to my family reunion, it should be a blast.

    I'm confused about the Inflation card. Please help!
    Any time a numeral is seen on another card, add one to that numeral. For example, 1 becomes 2, while one remains one. Yes, this affects the Basic Rules.
    That is contradicting basic addition. I'm confused. Could somebody explain this card.

      I think you are referring to the part where they say first is not a numeral. They aren't contradicting basic addition. You add 1 to any card that has a numeral (1,2,3,4....) but the rule - First Play Random is not a numeral and therefore Inflation does not apply.
      Does this clear things up for you? If you still have more questions please email them to thelab@looneylabs.com
      Thanks for playing our games!

      I agree. I tried the BGA tutorial and it made no sense. This at least makes sense.

    I have just picked up this game while thrift store shopping. There should be 100 cards plus the one card that has the basic rules? Are we still able to play if one card is missing?

    • @LooneyLabs
      @LooneyLabs  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, you can play if you are missing 1 card, it will be just as if that card didn't come up. To figure out which card is missing (and request a replacement from us) visit this Our Games page, click on the version you have, and look at the links near the bottom of the page for a card list. www.looneylabs.com/our-games

    Which fluxx do you recommend for 2 players?

    • @LooneyLabs
      @LooneyLabs  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      All versions of Fluxx can be played with just 2 players so pick whichever theme you find most appealing!

    But shouldn't he have had to satisfy the play all rule before he could win?

    • @LooneyLabs
      @LooneyLabs  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Play All changes the play rules, and is then considered to be resolved. From there, the player is just following the rules. Each card is played and resolved individually, so that's how he could win "in the middle of" Play All. Hope that helps.

    • @eMeSTy
      @eMeSTy 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      LooneyLabs It does. I guess my friends and I play it a bit differently. We go with the draw, play, and hand rules all have to be satisfied before your turn can end. To us, it adds just a bit more strategy to the game and this makes it a harder game to win
