Probably one of the best looking Italian Sports Cars. Unfortunately, all are extremely unreliable, and easily catch on fire to burn up with Webers. Some Ferraris had the same problem. Both did because the displacement was too small for performance, so the carburetors were set too rich and many burned. The snap and crackle noise you hear when slowing down is unburned gasoline spitting out of the 40 mm Webers on the exhaust manifold creating a fire. That’s why Ferrari and Lamborghini come equipped with good sized fire extinguishers behind the drivers seat.
Stunning is indeed the right word for this one. Love the spec!
Ikr. What a treat it was to see one in person!
Pretty car and so neat in comparison to todays overly large and heavy supercars.
The quintessence of design, a treat for the eye, unrivaled, will probably never be surpassed.
