Correct. I'd be more likely to convince friends not to waste their money. Unless you have no life and just intend to dedicate every hour to this, it isn't worth it.
The most fun I've had on a video game since I started playing dota 2 back in 2012. Ive played like 50 hours so far. Classes are unique and impactful in various ways. No class feels under or over powered. Beautiful well thought out maps. Memorable proximity/squad chat moments. Solid 8.5/10.
You don't need to use the bridge to cross the canal. The water is just shallow enough to walk on the bottom, then jump when the drown timer reaches 2. Repeat this a couple of times and you have now crossed the canal by walking under water.
Me and my buddy played HLL until an update rendered our older CPU's unable to play. That sucked balls. Not going to upgrade motherboard, cpu and ram just for HLL when every other game plays just fine.
@@GoudaGamer "not the greatest" is a big understatement. If somebody is not going to jump in for damage control the game might fizzle out. The core of my entire community ([OP]) was playing Squad yesterday :/
@@opart Yeah I watched it quickly during breakfast. I watched some analysis of it just now and good damn, it's awful. It looks like a placeholder work in progress version of the trailer. It's quite worrying. I play more and more Squad too.
If you're new to hll just know its not cod or fortnite. There's a steep learning curve. You cant run and gun, dont run through open fields and always assume someones aiming at you. Move cover to cover and watch the horizon. Communicate with your squad and people around you.
@Nietzschean in the last 6 months all of the matches I've played have run the same everyone pushes obj and 3 people get left to defend the point. The games not broken you're just playing it wrong.
@@Ry-nx3fh It's broken, which is why I mentioned getting capped from cover. I'm not bombing on ahead, I'm moving from cover to cover, taking time, listening to comms. Then you get popped from nowhere. Sometimes you'll spawn and get blown up. It's a load of rubbish.
@@nietzschean3138 expect to die a lot in this game this isn’t the type of game where you can go several minutes without dying, I’m still relatively new to the game but I’d say I’ve gotten decently well and can go longer without dying from a person I didn’t see it just takes time. The key is to stay with your team or with your squad that way you’re less likely to get shot out of nowhere and also to keep moving staying still for too long makes you a really easy target

I'm playing this about 2 months at least, I'm around level 50 but this game needs some serious fixing on many points. I will still try to play it because it's a good game but when you play half of the time you're just wasting your time.
"Hell Let Loose is an amazing game when it comes to teamwork and cooperation.". That genuinely made me laugh :) . About 90% of all players do NOT use their microphones, ever. There's no teamwork with these players either with the vast majority of them are just playing foe their k/d ratio. The game used to be the way you described it, but those days are long gone.
I have been playing from day 1. Im so over this game.... its a great game when you actually get two teams that know how to play... but it hardly ever goes that way. New players join... no1 defends, get back capped. New players finally learn that defending is important... New update hits. Rinse and repeat. I havnt been able to stomach a full game in months
Check out the T.A.W. community, they do games together on Wednesday and Thursday around 20:45 Dutch time. It's not too demanding and you can play some organized games.
The Early days, before the cheaters. All the games were like this. Good comms, squads stuck together. I really enjoyed playing Machine Gunner, and providing suppressive fire for my squad to move up and engage. but like everything, nothing lasts forever. Now its all aimbots and kids trying to be Rambo, getting killed and claiming the game is broken. Way too negative to play anymore.
My buddies and i play insurgency sandstorm but this looks like a good counter part I always said i wish they mad a WW2 version, and this looks like it’s it
Spawn dead, spawn dead, spawn dead, most squads always locked, bad / no commanders, almost zero squad leaders that know what they are doing. enemy camping your main spawn 5 mins after game starts. NOT FUN
absolutely not. i cannot in good faith recommend this game to anyone in its current state. if you haven't yet, you will soon see lobbies full of people slide-running constantly. there is no delay or cooldown on the "dive to prone" maneuver, so now it's being abused. U14 literally broke the fucking game and I'm not suggesting it to ANYONE until it's fixed. which means it's going to be at least a month.
B O R I N G - done that, been there, repeated 1000 times, it's so repetitive that i would kick my balls in it. They badly need any kind of RTS campaign where experience players can get involved to send resources in and out each battle.
Anytime there is communication in HLL it becomes the best first person shooter currently available
Was in a few great ones like that just last night, everybody working together like a well oiled machine & you meet some cool people.

That’s why I joined a clan. I was getting bored with no comm matches until I joined VOID. Every match has been great for the last 4 months

I hear this all the time but it's just a load of nonsense either way. You get capped from cover, artillery bombs your spawn etc. It's a broken game.

It’s annoying I understand but don’t give up on the game quite yet it’s a lot of fun once you get the hang of it

What servers are you playing on? Are you console or PC? I have over 200 hours in this game and ne er have an issue with people communicating.

New sprint speed has absolutely killed the game for me. It’s just not the same anymore.

HLL was a great game, until Team17 ruined it.
