Suffice to say that if you are over 5 feet seven tall you will need to elevate the roof to stand up comfortably. No need for the vertically challenged crack and there really is no problem as the caravan is intended for use with roof up. It provides good, adjustable, ventilation too. As for the slight headache - it is your own fault and not the fault of the caravan if you crack your head - unless you are blind, of course. It is what it is. I've had Eribas for 20 years and have not had a problem - well maybe once! Lack of worktop space? Yes, there is but one of two tables can provide worktop space if you are preparing food inside and either table can be attached to the rail on the outside of the caravan which, is useful if you have an awning erected. I agree they are heavy for their size but they are still easier to tow than a conventional caravan due to the height and shape. The price - yes it is expensive.....or is it considering the build quality, durability etc. They do last - some over 45 years are still in regular use. That cannot be said for most vans. Eribas are certainly not a conventional caravans. They do, however provide a caravan type camping experience that is ideal for those who dare to be different. They really ought not be directly compared with a house on wheels, lets see who has the most gadgets and mod cons, type of caravan.

I agree. If you are short, you are short. If you are tall, you are tall. Just like stalks of corn, but I can tell you (anyone) that a short stalk of corn makes just as good flour as a tall one. This 'XYZ challenged' nonsense is best left on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean where it began. Instead of sugar coating things in fanciful words, better to educate that things are equal and deserve equal respect.

I love the Eriba and many of the things some people complain about, are the things I love about the Eriba 530. I for example love the compact size of it, it has everything yet is smaller then most conventional caravans. It’s kind like a cross between a caravan and a pop up camper. And I love how different it looks from others, so pretty compared to those big new white box caravans. If I ever get the chance. I will get a Eriba 530.

A caravan that has not moved with the times ...no grill or oven ? ...even main stream caravans makes of the 70s had grill and ovens. The seating looks thinly padded too with low backs. Not for me lm afraid I’ll stick to Bailey or Swift much more luxurious. Thank you for the tour though.

I know I'm being pernickety but "there's the rub" means there is the main problem or difficulty, not there is the good news.
