If you liked the aquarium in the mall you should have stayed at Atlantis on the Palm- it has an aquarium in the foyer of the hotel and then there is another aquarium but you can go around

Also showing your knees is fine. If in places such as malls cover your shoulders just out of respect for their culture but when in the hotel or on a beach it’s fine. Normally it’s fine anywhere but some locals may find it offensive and ask you to cover up
i live in dubai and to be really honest... you didn't choose the right time to travel there ahahaha its extremely hot and doesn't give the city any justice ,, for future reference its better to travel there between november and april . BUT I LOVE YOU SO MUCH AND IM SO MAD THAT IM CURRENTLY NOT THERE LHKJHKGJOKHLH
Just be careful as you need to cover knees and shoulder when in public in Dubai that’s not private grounds like your hotel. So in the mall make sure you cover your knees next time x

I went there in October 2019 and someone said that they are building an aquarium in the massive lobby and some new water slides!
