The most harrowing part is, she did not have to share the sandbox story at all. She could've said it brings her great joy to see people smiling and so she joined hololive, but she *wanted* the share the story. Kids do the stupidest of things, most of them have little to no self-awareness. Like when I was a kid in 1st grade I thought teachers were going to spoon feed me food like my mom did and those at kindergarten did, I had a weird quirk that I had trouble eating off the plate/lunchbox and being overly picky, but if spoonfed I would eat without complaints. I still cringe at asking my teacher to feed me and she actually did it and other kids laughed. I never understood why until I was older. I stay awake at night most days cringing at stuff I did as a kid. But this thing with vivi is wild, how much of a willpower does she have to own something like that?
Tbh.. Knowing and following her since her IRL debut back then.. The sandbox story basically tracks 😂. That voice, that story.. I'm immediately connected the dot that it's actually and really really her. And immediately I'm not surprised anymore. That's a such a NMB story to tell.😂😂 *Another reason why I still cringe when people keep telling me idol especially 48G is "seiso" hahaha
@@British_Rogue If you're fine of the "doxxing" rule.. she's Yagura Fuuko (矢倉楓子), a former NMB48 2nd Gen members. Arguably 2nd Gen "Ace", the more popular members among whole 48G members (400+ member) at its peak. If you heard her voice and speeches once, you'll notice it right away. That unmistakable Kansai-ben + soothing voices. NMB48 is AKB sister group that based in Osaka, which is historically rich with comedy AND their parent group is Yoshimoto Kogyo, one of the oldest and prestigous Comedy talent agency in Japan, even to this day. In fact, "shitting in sandbox as a child" is probably the most "generic and very typical" MC subject you could think of during NMB theatre performance 🤣. (Some 2ch even pinpoint which theatre performance she might said that). Which is again revert back to the of AKB48/Idol = Seiso is very stereotypical for someone that only following idol culture in general, not in depth . They only act proper on national TV, but in their own variety show and theatre performance..they're pretty much what we seen vtubers with their chats most of the time.
Bae will never escape the JP allegation. She loves Majima so much she becomes Kansai-jin xD Yep questionable clips and speedrunning clips of YAGOO's dream destroyed once again 🤣
I know Vivi probably got accepted before Justice was even revealed before debut, but something just tells me that Liz-senpai’s voice impressions inspired Vivi to practice Japanese regional accents.
Keep in mind, Liz’s past life channel announced hiatus late 2023. And some of Hololive EN like Calli said they only first heard ERB’s voice (at least as ERB) during the recording for the EnReco “Start Again” theme song.
Probably, I have a trilingual friend that half the time I have to say “oi, I don’t speak that language!” Cause he will go on a tangent using all three languages
Not Japanese, but I believe that is part of the language/culture to raise intonation sometimes. I recall there was an irl Japanese streamer who thought Anya was actually Japanese because she had the same verbal habits that native Japanese people had, including the high pitch thing.
I think japanese is a higher pitched language due to the use of vowels. Like for example when you say "bee" vs "been". Your mouth is more open and less nasally when you say 'bee' compared to 'been'. At least that's what I think.
"I remember all those good feelings from back then with my senpais...."
"Hey, remember debut Bae?"
"Hey shut up."
"I like to hang upside down from the ceilings"
Finally more JP kouhais for Hakos Baelz, from the JP branch.
A bunch of talented gals, maybe they can teach Bae some english.
Vivi's story is such a story of all time.
Truly one of the story of all time
She's got grit.

Now Bae has a great chance to learn Kansai-ben from native speaker Vivi
Kansai ben ftw
I mean bae loves majima so much, of course she likes Kansai Ben
I wouldn't tell my therapist that story.
VIVI UNDERSTANDS THE ASSIGNMENT. I LOOK FORWARD TO HER CAREER
Elbow-senpai feels like she's going to set a good example for the newcomers of what not to do.

Vivi is arguably the most stereotypical "Kansai" people could find lol

Honest question. Is the high squeaky voice part of Japanese language, or is it a Bae thing?

Higher/lower tones are part of the language, but Bae pushes them into squeaking territory
