I love how the characters in Pose have a sense of community, how they look out for and take care of each other. This show teaches a lot of life lessons. Great job FX and great job all of the actors and actresses.

But I understand the need to put that on the show to give the narrative that is STILL very much prevalent to this day when it comes to the murdering of trans women. Glamorous Taee trans women are women. Did you not pay attention to what was said in this interview? A trans person cannot be played by a cis character bc it distorts our perception on the experiences of trans people. It centers cisgender ppl in the experiences of trans people. If a role asks for a trans woman, it should be trans women auditioning and taking that role. If it asks for a woman, it can be a woman that is cis or trans. If it asks for a cis woman specifically then yeah it may be better for a cis woman to play it. If a black trans woman is the role, a black trans woman should play the role. It’s not that hard. We just have to accurately represent minorities with people who actually live those experiences.

I just today watched the episode season 2 Candy dies, and I was heartbroken, the whole episode tore me up. I have never felt so much emotion from watchin anything like POSE ever!! And this lead me here, searching for the amazing beautiful actress that played her. Wow girl you are stunning.

As a Thai Theravada Buddhist, So proud of her. Altruism, Mindfulness, Inquisitive mind leading to rationale and ultimately wisdom, both Peripheral and Self awarenesses, Broad and Deep perspectives, Being non-judgements, Humbleness, Positive views and Inner strength are clearly laid in her. Buddhism taught people to understand every acts of us being connected so it’s incredibly important to be aware before interacting with surroundings mentally, physically and spiritually. Because the results can be very profound either positive or negative upon our actions. She nailed! An Intelligent lady.
