Hello, Family Islanders! Which tip or trick did you find the most helpful?! 🤩🤩 Remember to share any tips or tricks you might have along with your Support ID - it could be featured in a future video!
Tip- always keep track when you are going to level up. Try to consume all your energy before each level up because it automatically refills to fill capacity after level up.
Tip: when upgrading your buildings, try to focus on one only. That way you continuously build what you need and will be able to upgrade that building so much quicker.
Thank you for all the tips, guys.I could go back and read and pick it all up again and go back and finish and completely.Finish each island with everybody's input. You guys are the bomb
1. Don't throw anything away when you are doing an event. Let everything lying on the island and then go back to be able to open bridges etc. quicker. 2. While doing an event prepare by keeping keys and by cooking as much as you can before and during in order to have enough energy to play the event. 3. don't start an event by immediately using every golden tool you have for opening small areas with small prizes before you have seen the event island because you might need them for a bigger prize and not have enough time to get more. 4. on the event islands try crafting all the time even if you don't need them at the moment. You will probably need them afterwards and it will save time.
Go back through levels that you’ve gone through previously, search for treasure you couldn’t previously collect, items that keep generating prizes throughout the challenge, and you also often get keys, saws, and picks in tasks that you complete…you may not have had enough when you were passing it the.first 3-4 times! I’m on level 55 and knew a little bit about this, but I’m adamant about doing it now
When you need something (rocks, twigs etc) go back to those open islands where the extra ones are (from when your inventory was full) and gather those up before spending more energy to get more.
Tip: Sometimes, there is a hidden/special bag in adventures/events. You can find it under a rock or a bush and you will need 35 energy to break it. You don’t need to break it all. You just need to click rare section, click the gold key and then click the description box or the microscope icon and it will show you where it is hidden. MKLYH1
I do a lot of farming that helps with energy. The corn, wheat grow the fastest and you can use them to trade for cool gifts. While events are fun and adventurous I sometimes use them to gather resources for my home island.
Always make extra items so that when the Shaman and Merchant came, the are ready for you. Plant roots, corn and purple flowers when you need grass or sticks. Have a full table of food ready when you start a new Island. If you have extra saws use it on the 5 saw tree stump, it is a great source of wood and sticks Hope this will help V1CTVI
While true, if you are trying to do well in the islands, often the resources aren’t available to you on your home island as a consequence. Personally I skip every other event island, focus on the other islands and stockpiling for merchant. I will then wait until the island quest is halfway through, and begin it then.
Agreed. I participate in every other event and build up my island in between. Events are mostly good for collecting gems, gold ingots and if you run out of rarer resources on your island. AFTEMI
Also, 2 suggestions, make it that extra fallen resources (inventory is full) don't land behind trees and rocks that have not been cleared and when hitting the search button for items instead of it showing you what to chop down to collect the item your looking for it should first take you to the ones you already had collected before inventory was full.
F7NYET TIP: When your inventory is full, I find it helpful to harvest lots of veggies. This way they land on your island and don’t take up room in your inventory!!! You will have them available for pickup when you need them!
Tip, if you’re like me and try to get the absolute most out of the limited amount of time that you can give to playing ur favorite game. What I’ve found to be the best approach at maintaining the highest quantity of goods at all times, is keeping my storage completely maxed, while continuing to collect goods on my home islands mainly, but it also works for events as long as u remember to collect from ur event before time expires. By keeping production constantly going on all machines, even with full storages, then collecting as quickly as they are done, to immediately start new production, thus gives you the most possible, I’ll cut trees, grass, rocks etc while storage is full, and leave them lay on the ground instead of letting them go in storage. This allows for full storages plus much more when needed jyst laying around, saving u a lot wait time, and giving you a lot extra product to sell for stars, increasing ur levels faster, which in turn opens up more gameplay and more options as ur level increases. I also try and grow root much more when I don’t need anything, since it s faster to finish and I can get more stars in less time. 2N2ZBK
I found the trick about working on your own island very helpful to me because I have spent so much of my bill money on this game. Thank u so much for this TH-cam channel. Good luck Islanders!!
Tip: there are certain trees that turn into presents when you chop them like the cherry blossom trees. Look for the rare/ different trees on an island that only appear once or twice. #2 save your keys for missions and don't open any chests until you know you don't need multiple to open areas of the map. Happy islanding everyone!! XJSJUJ
Tip: Always keep things planted in the field patch as they are free. Let them pile up in baskets around the field for later use. Tip #2: don’t collect compiled resources until you need to use them so they don’t take up space in inventory. LH31GH
The only tip I do have is when your trying to finish am event I would stockpile on energy 5 hours or more before the event ends. That way when the new event starts you have a large amount of energy to start the new event to possibly be able to finish the event completely. 4UMAYW
The big purple chests that are worth three keys do not give more resources than three separate small chests. You are better off spending keys one at a time on small chests. Hopefully that changes. Also, only open the chests on event islands. They're worth a lot of leaderboard points and give the same resources as chests found on home island. ZJFBC5
M298FT - When I first started playing I thought you had to get all the items you needed before you could upgrade a building. But as soon as you have enough of one of the items you can click "use" under it's picture and you won't have to remember not to use that resource before upgrading.
During events when your inventory is full leave the resources on the ground and don't pick up when you have made room. Go back to them when you have no energy but need resources. If you can get to a point where you can continuously have X amount of items made that you use the most and try and keep that amount it helps tremendously. It took a bit of strategizing before I got it down. Ex: 10 clay pots, 8 swords, 4 stakes, 8 planks, 4 finished boards etc Grow cotton and wheat and nothing else when sleeping bcuz it takes longer. G4JDJ6
KET4MD- I found the clip on how to move islanders with inventory most helpful. Please tell us how to retrieve items from behind trees etc without having to go through them 🤪
Tip: If you fill up with grass often, but always need it for events after you've thrown it away to make room, here's what I do. Roots and corn give a bit of grass too, so always harvest when your inventory is full, then make space and only collect the crop baskets. Eventually you'll have lots of grass piles around your garden you can pick up whenever you need, but don't take space in your inventory in the meantime. (This also works for trees if you have too many sticks and just want logs) ID: 61KB8C
Tip: It tends to get overwhelming when you have several things that need upgrading at once. Only work on making what you need for one at a time so that you don't use them for some other task and have to start over again.
Getting cheaper resin: Producing 1 resin costs you about 53 energy. When exploring the various islands, use a loop tool around the resin and look for trees, which give it. For example: by cutting down a 224 energy baobab you get about 3-4 resin and around 25 logs so it is totally worth it (spend 224 energy, get goods worth 310-380 energy). The same goes for the yellow trees on Sapphire Island - you spend 80 energy and get 2 resins or 56 energy and get 1 resin plus logs, sticks, and cones. Additionally, you save time because now you just got your resin and don't have to manufacture it. So my recommendation is - cut all of those resin0giving trees down before you finish your island. They are energy savers! 2NFUCR
Tips : Fill your warehouse with roots until it's full and cut trees, stones etc... you'll have plenty of resources available for the next event in case you don't have enough energy for the next one. the less you can move forward. 2- searching with the magnifying glass also allows you to find the keys when there are some on the event islands. 3- advice: do not do all the events and focus on your main island. And the most important, remember that it’s just a game. Sometimes you win, sometimes you loose! Having fun is your priority! Love this game since one year now! ♥️ IXMSW5
Look for hidden keys on the event islands. Go to your inventory, select the key and use the magnifying class to find hidden keys on the island. Usually they come with other goodies too 7PKZ4D
It's not doing that for me. Instead it is bringing up the event progress window and saying that the key is in gift that I have to get a LOT of tickets to get to... C5GU3S
TIP: send the merchant away when your XP is almost full or before leveling up so that when you level up the merchant comes back again without you waiting the long hours for him ID: 3AITGR
Storing resources (eg. Shells, salt, claws) for future use in 'crates' is a great option - someone else noted this and I am now enjoying that very helpful tip! Fill your storage with easily replenishable items (eg potatoes), then collect future-use resources (eg shells) on home island :)
Tip: When coming back to your game after a while (like sleeping) always feed the family first to clear the table for the food that was being made while you slept and then collect the energy from energy generators. My support ID: LYM7EU, thaks for the video.
Tip: It is always helpful to play on your own island for a few weeks and save up about 10,000 energy from the shaman and merchant to have plenty to use for an event. YKCSJ1
Tip: Do your best to have extra goods to exchange with shaman and merchant. Tip: If you're exploring a new island do your best to use your energy on bushes near the paths rather than huge rocks blocking your way. That way you explore the island faster by visiting main areas then after energy refill you can come back and check other stuff on the island. Tip: when crafting, the last 30sec are free!!! No need for gems!
Remember the trick of finding the pink bag by clicking the gold key and it will locate it ... well .....Not any more .I think since so many of us shared this trick that now they have actually found a way to hide it. P.s dont share such feedback . They have Actually tried to make the gane harder
Tip: Sometimes there are extra gifts with a golden key. You just need to tap the gold key in your inventory and it will show where it is hidden. That way, you only need to break the rock or trim the grass where it is. Nice little surprise sometimes. I always do them during event to try. Z6XIFD
It's not doing that for me. Instead it is bringing up the event progress window and saying that the key is in gift that I have to get a LOT of tickets to get to... C5GU3S
Tip 1: When in an event and looking for an extra key click on the key icon in your inventory and tap on the search bible that appears. It will let you know what resource to get in order to reveal a Pink Bag which will include a key and other things. Tip 2: keep making resources add it will sane you time later in making more advanced items for the quests or for fulfilling the shaman or Hapoor's orders. The quicker you fulfill these the faster you will earn keys, resources, energy and progressin the quests. Tip 3: keep your kitchen table full of food at all times for a quick energy source. R43BU5
The only problem I ran into with that, when they ask you to make a steak dinner and your table is full, how do you delete things from your table to make room for the new request, when your energy is full.
Tip: 1. Sometimes it’s best to have some extra goods available for the Shaman or the Water Marketplace. This way you don’t have to worry about making it at the last minute. 2. When making sure that the animals are being fed I will make at least 3 of each feed for them. That way I’m getting products from each animal.
When you want to make something at one of the stations, you can hit the arrows on the side of the screen to jump to any of the other stations you currently have. Plus if you click on the upgrade button you can view (if you’re the right level) on what items are needed so you can make sure you have them and wait less time to upgrade.
Tip: If trying to speed time up a little without using rubies on produced items keep an eye out on the times while you’re doing things on your island. The last thirty seconds of each item can be fast r tracked for free if you click on them. KTXZE8
Tip: after crafting or getting rid of things for up points, try to get everything off of an event island or an island that is going to close so that you do not lose xp points. If you can't use all the resources you might as well get xp for them. However, don't clean out resource too much or you might not have what you need for future events. ZSWCBU
tip #2: if you have animal(s) in the way of your crafting station you can hit a different crafting station; then, hit the arrow button until you get to the crafting table you desire. ZSWCBU Tip #3: click on the table there is an icon of food click on it and you can go straight to crafting a dinner. From there you may use arrows to craft at other tables. This also works in events with more than one crafting station. ZSWCBU
Loved the info on holding down the discard icon. My storage always ends up full during events, so I've recently decided to go back and pick up the extra recourses (gifts) before they end.
In certain challenge islands, goodie bags with keys and other bonuses are hidden amongst normal items. In order to locate, go to your treasure chest, tap on the key, and then on the box with the magnifying glass. This will point you to an item - a rock, tree, bush, etc - which, once you break it, will have a pink goodie bag “hidden” underneath. S8U11U
When looking to participate on any island, I usually recommend looking for the resources that you need to make energy so that way you can continuously keep it up. For example if there’s a task that has collecting purple trees start with that task so that way you have logs to make food to get energy for the family 3JFLRK
The tip about hiding the islander when taking a screenshot was new to me and very helpful! Thank you for making life easier on the Island! My Islanders salute you! :)
USBP31.. im new.. 1st time watching ur utube channel.. I Luv ur family news.. Subscribed after watching Tips & Tricks, very useful. Ty & Hv Great Day.. Smilez..
My tips are: always leave a few extra itens being fabricated when you leave the game so when you come back you'll already have what to deliver to the ship; check for a saw in the magnifying glass so you can see you can find chests around the island/event, and if it keeps showing you the same chest, try to move the screen to another part so it will show you another chest (if it doesn't work is because is the only chest or the only one you can access so far); always check for how many lightnings will cost for you to cut an specific three, flower or stone, and check how many itens it gives you in return to see what is a better choice to make, sometimes even if you choose the bigger one, it will only cost more but won't give you more itens after farming (such as green potion), but it depends on the item so you have to check; when doing an event, preferably farm on the event for every item you might need to upgrade your main island, because by everything you cut there you gain points on the board, and it can get you gifts, even if you don't win the whole thing you can get lightnings an other stuff and it won't cost you any different give preference to the objects that give you lightnings on the island if you must fix them or upgrade them, and remember you can always plant food for free and it gives you grass as well!! so you can get stars infinitely only by planting if you really need some itens and you are close to the next level you could just do that!! Alice Id: HHJGTN ♡♡♡♡ good luck players!!
So many good tips already posted lol. If you don't plan on doing a event for whatever reason, at least go to the event Island. Usually they all have energy boxes when you first arrive and you'll get a ranking reward. Speaking of which, if you know you won't do the event or finish then wait until the last day and you'll likely rank top 3 just by doing a little and it's worth the keys, orbs, gold and energy so always at least go to the event Island just wait until the end those ranking rewards are really good. Happy islanding everyone!!! DY3E7A
Tip: don’t use up your keys on your home island - use them on the event island to open the chest - it gives you tons of points and you jump up the leaderboard immediately ID: DILY4M
TIP: If you need resources which are common items like grass, stone, wood; compare the cost of energy it requires in an event island. Most of the item, it's cheaper in home island or other island. So if it's not required in leaderboard, better get it from other islands to save energy. 😉 Support ID: 3UJTZZ
It would be super helpful for players if inventory wouldn't fall to the ground (when your Warehouse is full) *right* behind something that takes even more energy to chop. I just want to pick up the inventory that I've already removed and expended energy on.. not chop down something else to fill up my inventory when all I wanted was what I had originally made. Also, when you're looking for something in your inventory and you know it's fall under the ground somewhere on the island it would be great if when you clicked on the item to find it the game wouldn't take you to a new resource but rather to the inventory that's fallen on the ground. I'm not sure how easy that would be to program but it would be super super helpful! Thanks for all the tricks and tips! 4ADFPS
Tip: Another way to free up space in inventory is to start using that inventory to do upgrades. So if you need ten ropes and thirty sticks and twelve rocks to upgrade your mill, you don’t have to wait until you have all items just start upgrading with what you have and you’ll have space in your inventory ANIC73 😁
I liked the tip about how you can hold down the yellow discard button instead of pressing repeatedly. A trick/tip I use is noticing that you can trade something on the main island with the trade boat if there is a green check. If it is yellow, you don’t have anything to trade yet. WLG342
I like to leave all the gifts in the blue boxes till the end of an event before collecting. Usually you get pretty far without using and you can start off with tons of energy for next event. Also, you can make a huge difference in where you place at the end by collecting all that XP at the end. 😁 W3WER9
I have no tips except to stay focused on one project at a time... if you get distracted by a new goal you could end up using precious saved resources to complete a home island task
It was good to know the different tips and tricks. Thank you for putting this together! ❤ I guess my Tip for new people is where to find your Support ID. It can be found at the top left corner on the Main Island page, by the yellow star where it shows you what level you are on. You can also click on your profile/character icon and you will see it bigger and be able to Copy it from there. ❤ Most Important Tip: Have Fun!! 🎉🎊 EB4U22 😁
Tip: if the area as a lot of obstacles to clear, compare the cost of energy each one takes. Sometimes a smaller object (that costs less energy) is enough to make it through. ID: VE7G3X 😉
When your inventory is full, click to gather the clover or the seashell decoration to "bank" that regenerated item first. It will store near that decor. That way you are not losing that regenerated item, just storing it on the field until you need it later. The egg generator does the same thing. It won't be able to go into your inventory but can be stored to use later. C9RCRY 🤩🎂🤩
I'd like to see same family get transported to future in a new spin off game called family Island FUTURE. instead of Island hopping, it'll be planet hopping. Flying cars, robots, and more!!
If you cannot or don't want to participate in all events (adventure island) and you are pondering, which to skip and which to participate in here is what you can consider: check what resources you are lacking/are hard to get on your main island. Those are usually seashells, palm logs, and iron ore. See if the current event offers more of those goods, especially at cheaper prices. Then this is the moment to participate in the event to harvest missing resources. Sometimes it makes sense just to reach a certain point in the beginning of an island, e.g. to manufacture keys or to get extra energy from an energy generator. 2NFUCR
Tip: When trying to upgrade a building focus on one building and one item at a time. Try to make as much of that item in between merchant ships and, I'd possible, avoid using that item with the merchant or shaman. XPGEWT
Remember that the events are extra and not mandatory. There is no need to stress out and pay a lot of money to finish. Just focus on your home island upgrades and use the event islands for extra resources. WRDYFJ
When starting an event, only focus on the event checkpoints with your energy. That will get you farther in the event. Then you can focus on leaderboard points after completing the event checkpoints. Energy goes quickly in events, so try to also get merchant rewards and shawman rewards if possible. That's my suggestion, for what it's worth. Good luck, KYYIE2
V72IDW
Wait to do crafts for event until double craft occurs. Sometimes it asks for 10 -12 items to be crafted and with double you can make double the crafts for half the energy of necessary items for the craft.
Tip: if the area as a lot of obstacles to clear, compare the cost of energy each one takes. Sometimes a smaller object (that costs less energy) is enough to make it through. ID:VMK9HI
Mi mejor típ es darme cuenta que algunos eventos son imposibles y decido esperar al siguiente aumentando mi energía mientras tanto, me encanta el juego, pero hay que reconocer que algunos eventos necesitan muuuuucha energía. Gracias V41JEH
Tip: If trying to speed time up a little without using rubies on produced items keep an eye out on the times while you're doing things on your island. The last thirty seconds of each item can be fast r tracked for free if you click on them. TFBHS6 👍🏻
My favorite trick is placing items that you bring home from other islands or events either in front of or near by your work stations or cooking areas so huge oak trees/ pine trees won't block you from either picking items up or crafting more! Also roots grow the fastest & you can exchange them for points to get to your next level faster❤️ AVZYKG
Ja conhecia alguns recursos outros vão me ajudar muito. ID:MFMGYH. Quero ilhas de eventos mais fáceis de se passar pois até hoje não me recordo de ter conseguido completar nenhum evento.😔
I don’t worry about finishing the events. I play them up to a point, getting resources I need for my home island so I earn the leaderboard points. But once I get to where I face a very energy-intensive obstacle, I switch my attention back to my home island.
Thanks lol I didn't even think about holding the button down to make room. Yesterday I downloaded this and ran out of room, spent a long while making room old school one at a time... So thanks again
My favorite tip was how to make an islander disappear to take a screen shot. 😃 my small piece of advice would be to pay attention to which islanders can dig up what. When you get to a congested area and have enough energy and maybe in a hurry. You can click on one of each characters item and get quite a bunch done pretty quickly. 😁👍
I like the spinning clear my storage function. Just found.out the hold button and let it spin to clear room for storage. That's helpful. Thank you for the share. 💐
When u run out of energy try going back to the other islands and collecting the energy that's been generated since the last time u were there.. sometimes there are chests to watch for energy on the other islands as well.
You don't have that much energy, don't worry to much keep on the path and eliminate things on that path until you reach the goal set for you. It's fun and allows you to get through that island quicker.
When doing an event I always leave behind gift boxes/plant and tree gifts/mini chests that give energy unless I absolutely need to clear them out of the way to finish the challenge. My reason for that is when I get low on energy I can always go back to that island when I need them. Same with grass and grass producing clover. Sorry if this has already been reported.
I love #3 I think it was, the one about going to your inventory and clicking on the white box above it and the game will show you exactly where it is on the map
Check out Part 2 here! 🏝

Try to get as much energy you can before entering a event

Tip- always keep track when you are going to level up. Try to consume all your energy before each level up because it automatically refills to fill capacity after level up.
This helped me....thanx
Thank you!
Thank you for the tip. Very helpful!
It does not refill. You get a special amount of energy for finishing the level.
Thanks for all your tips and tricks they're going to be a beautiful Help to me.
Tip: when upgrading your buildings, try to focus on one only. That way you continuously build what you need and will be able to upgrade that building so much quicker.
This is very helpful. Thanks XEBL49
Es muy útil, gracias
This is good idea. 8E1S9V
Excellent tip . I do this all the time. So at the end of an event I still have tons of extra resources to collect & use on home island 🏝️
Great tips! I try not to use my gold tools. Then the next day I forget what I was doing and use all my items. 🤦🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️
When looking for the hidden prize bags hit the find button in the inventory, you have to have a good key and it will show you where they are hidden
I do that as well!
MKLYH1
It works!
That’s helpful, thanks!
Where do u click rare sections?
Thanks I'll try it.....1PZK8C
Where is rare section? Is it event?
I do a lot of farming that helps with energy. The corn, wheat grow the fastest and you can use them to trade for cool gifts. While events are fun and adventurous I sometimes use them to gather resources for my home island.
Always make extra items so that when the Shaman and Merchant came, the are ready for you. Plant roots, corn and purple flowers when you need grass or sticks. Have a full table of food ready when you start a new Island. If you have extra saws use it on the 5 saw tree stump, it is a great source of wood and sticks
Hope this will help

While true, if you are trying to do well in the islands, often the resources aren’t available to you on your home island as a consequence.
Personally I skip every other event island, focus on the other islands and stockpiling for merchant. I will then wait until the island quest is halfway through, and begin it then.
If you have saved inventory , the shaman or merchant asks for a lot more of them so just be careful :)
Всегда стараюсь так делать) Это очень удобно!)
Ignore events, do your own island. Less time spend on the game + more satisfaction. And you probably won't spend any money. Win win win.
I only play events to get more energy
@@abeersharawi1605 it comes and goes. But I replenish my items from events to upgrade my island.
I need to do by this, I was looking at how much I spend on events, and it is way too much
I am embarrassed at how much I spend.
Great suggestions.

Great ideas!!

TIP: When your inventory is full, I find it helpful to harvest lots of veggies.

XJSJUJ
A me piace tanto 😊😊😊😊
Hi! Expect 300 Energy in the mail!
Thank you so much!
The Cheery blossom tree trick helps a lot!!!
For people who are just starting out, this is extremely helpful! Thank you
Tip: Always keep things planted in the field patch as they are free. Let them pile up in baskets around the field for later use. Tip #2: don’t collect compiled resources until you need to use them so they don’t take up space in inventory. LH31GH
Definitely!!! I go around when I need extra items and collect them. Rocks..clay. and hay too. They also carry ☘️. Best idea!!

Hate to wait? Before you take a break from the game, load your machines with items that take the longest to make.

Ex: 10 clay pots, 8 swords, 4 stakes, 8 planks, 4 finished boards etc
Grow cotton and wheat and nothing else when sleeping bcuz it takes longer.
G4JDJ6
KET4MD- I found the clip on how to move islanders with inventory most helpful. Please tell us how to retrieve items from behind trees etc without having to go through them 🤪
Tip #2... Didn't know that you could hold down the yellow button to get rid of items at a faster rate. I ve been doing it one at a time. So thanks 😊
Me too! That was my only take away from her 5, so I’m good. If I learned one thing, then that’s a bonus. 🤩
Agreed! Same here.
New to this game only been playing about 3 weeks, love it and thanks for tips really helps x
(This also works for trees if you have too many sticks and just want logs)
ID: 61KB8C
2NFUCR
I especially like the tip about holding down the button to discard unwanted resources to make room. This saves a ton of time and taps!
I love this! X5NC24
I have never found a hidden key???
I love the game
D3PNYP
@@carloszamora3629 you find them by knocking down rocks and sometimes trees in a big pink bag of goodies!
It's not doing that for me. Instead it is bringing up the event progress window and saying that the key is in gift that I have to get a LOT of tickets to get to... C5GU3S
TIP: send the merchant away when your XP is almost full or before leveling up so that when you level up the merchant comes back again without you waiting the long hours for him

Storing resources (eg. Shells, salt, claws) for future use in 'crates' is a great option - someone else noted this and I am now enjoying that very helpful tip!
Fill your storage with easily replenishable items (eg potatoes), then collect future-use resources (eg shells) on home island :)
How
What crates
Melinda McCann, Please explain where to find a crate and how to put things in it. Does this keep those items out of my storage huts?
What crates!!! 😫 please explain
Tip: When coming back to your game after a while (like sleeping) always feed the family first to clear the table for the food that was being made while you slept and then collect the energy from energy generators. My support ID: LYM7EU, thaks for the video.
4JFAGS always have food growing in the garden and start as many items crafting as possible, even if you don't need them yet.

# 1 is the best tip I didn't know about! ID C26CNI
Thank you for the Tip 1, I am definitely gonna try that. 😍
TE1DU2 💚
The only problem I ran into with that, when they ask you to make a steak dinner and your table is full, how do you delete things from your table to make room for the new request, when your energy is full.
Tip: 1. Sometimes it’s best to have some extra goods available for the Shaman or the Water Marketplace. This way you don’t have to worry about making it at the last minute. 2. When making sure that the animals are being fed I will make at least 3 of each feed for them. That way I’m getting products from each animal.
Thanks for the tip to empty my storage when it full!!!👍❤️
When you want to make something at one of the stations, you can hit the arrows on the side of the screen to jump to any of the other stations you currently have. Plus if you click on the upgrade button you can view (if you’re the right level) on what items are needed so you can make sure you have them and wait less time to upgrade.
Tip: If trying to speed time up a little without using rubies on produced items keep an eye out on the times while you’re doing things on your island. The last thirty seconds of each item can be fast r tracked for free if you click on them. KTXZE8
This is the best
Tip: after crafting or getting rid of things for up points, try to get everything off of an event island or an island that is going to close so that you do not lose xp points. If you can't use all the resources you might as well get xp for them. However, don't clean out resource too much or you might not have what you need for future events.
ZSWCBU
tip #2: if you have animal(s) in the way of your crafting station you can hit a different crafting station; then, hit the arrow button until you get to the crafting table you desire.
ZSWCBU
Tip #3: click on the table there is an icon of food click on it and you can go straight to crafting a dinner.
Thank you
When looking to participate on any island, I usually recommend looking for the resources that you need to make energy so that way you can continuously keep it up. For example if there’s a task that has collecting purple trees start with that task so that way you have logs to make food to get energy for the family
3JFLRK
I think the dancing is so cute. I'm still lost as to how to play most efficiently. Thank you for the tips.
U ever noticed when they finish eating..they look right at you
How do you get them to eat... i cant never clear my dinner table...
Hi
I didn't know about holding down the star to get rid quickly.. that is extremely helpful!!🥰
My tip: Concentrate on upgrading your storage early on. It’s a dull task but it will keep you from having to frequently manage your stored items.
The tip about hiding the islander when taking a screenshot was new to me and very helpful! Thank you for making life easier on the Island! My Islanders salute you! :)
They're the ones making the game hard dumbo
USBP31.. im new.. 1st time watching ur utube channel.. I Luv ur family news.. Subscribed after watching Tips & Tricks, very useful.
Ty & Hv Great Day.. Smilez..
My tips are: always leave a few extra itens being fabricated when you leave the game so when you come back you'll already have what to deliver to the ship;
check for a saw in the magnifying glass so you can see you can find chests around the island/event, and if it keeps showing you the same chest, try to move the screen to another part so it will show you another chest (if it doesn't work is because is the only chest or the only one you can access so far);
always check for how many lightnings will cost for you to cut an specific three, flower or stone, and check how many itens it gives you in return to see what is a better choice to make, sometimes even if you choose the bigger one, it will only cost more but won't give you more itens after farming (such as green potion), but it depends on the item so you have to check;
when doing an event, preferably farm on the event for every item you might need to upgrade your main island, because by everything you cut there you gain points on the board, and it can get you gifts, even if you don't win the whole thing you can get lightnings an other stuff and it won't cost you any different
give preference to the objects that give you lightnings on the island if you must fix them or upgrade them, and
remember you can always plant food for free and it gives you grass as well!! so you can get stars infinitely only by planting if you really need some itens and you are close to the next level you could just do that!!
DY3E7A
How would you rank in The top three if you wait until the end of the event without playing said event?
Tip: don’t use up your keys on your home island - use them on the event island to open the chest - it gives you tons of points and you jump up the leaderboard immediately
ID: DILY4M
I just started playing and I really like the game, so all the good help I can get is good help so thank you 😊
TIP: If you need resources which are common items like grass, stone, wood; compare the cost of energy it requires in an event island. Most of the item, it's cheaper in home island or other island. So if it's not required in leaderboard, better get it from other islands to save energy. 😉

So if you need ten ropes and thirty sticks and twelve rocks to upgrade your mill, you don’t have to wait until you have all items just start upgrading with what you have and you’ll have space in your inventory
ANIC73 😁
When on other islands you can search where to find a key in your chest and it'll show where the pink bag is if there is one.
I liked the tip about how you can hold down the yellow discard button instead of pressing repeatedly. A trick/tip I use is noticing that you can trade something on the main island with the trade boat if there is a green check. If it is yellow, you don’t have anything to trade yet. WLG342
How do you trade, I can't seem to find any info on it?
I like to leave all the gifts in the blue boxes till the end of an event before collecting. Usually you get pretty far without using and you can start off with tons of energy for next event. Also, you can make a huge difference in where you place at the end by collecting all that XP at the end. 😁 W3WER9
When the Shaman has difficult tasks, just refresh the items a few tikes, they will eventually ask for easier items. Less crafting time.
How do you refresh the boat
? PJ7A3J
I have no tips except to stay focused on one project at a time... if you get distracted by a new goal you could end up using precious saved resources to complete a home island task
It was good to know the different tips and tricks. Thank you for putting this together! ❤
I guess my Tip for new people is where to find your Support ID. It can be found at the top left corner on the Main Island page, by the yellow star where it shows you what level you are on. You can also click on your profile/character icon and you will see it bigger and be able to Copy it from there. ❤
Most Important Tip:
Have Fun!! 🎉🎊
EB4U22 😁
If you need grass, you can just plant some roots or corn onto your fields. After yielding them you get some grass :)
Id: MYKNPB
Tip: if the area as a lot of obstacles to clear, compare the cost of energy each one takes. Sometimes a smaller object (that costs less energy) is enough to make it through. ID: VE7G3X 😉
Love the piggy bank! It really comes in handy!
C9RCRY 🤩🎂🤩
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰😍😍😍😍😘😘
I end up deleting clovers. How do you “bank” them? And eggs too? tyvm
How do you bank them?.. my seashells disappear so fast.
I'd like to see same family get transported to future in a new spin off game called family Island FUTURE. instead of Island hopping, it'll be planet hopping. Flying cars, robots, and more!!
WOW!🤩
If you cannot or don't want to participate in all events (adventure island) and you are pondering, which to skip and which to participate in here is what you can consider: check what resources you are lacking/are hard to get on your main island. Those are usually seashells, palm logs, and iron ore. See if the current event offers more of those goods, especially at cheaper prices. Then this is the moment to participate in the event to harvest missing resources. Sometimes it makes sense just to reach a certain point in the beginning of an island, e.g. to manufacture keys or to get extra energy from an energy generator. 2NFUCR
I had no idea about making the islanders disappear when taking screen shot. Very helpful.
Love this game and the Christmas 🎄☃️ decor 😍
1R4NDX
Tip: When trying to upgrade a building focus on one building and one item at a time. Try to make as much of that item in between merchant ships and, I'd possible, avoid using that item with the merchant or shaman. XPGEWT
Remember that the events are extra and not mandatory. There is no need to stress out and pay a lot of money to finish. Just focus on your home island upgrades and use the event islands for extra resources.

I'm a newbie and the video helped me and alot of good ideas on comments. This game is so addictive and I love it.
My tip is to always have clay in stock, so you can craft bowls which then allow you to make food, so increase your XP! IZG918
Tip #2 was most helpful!!!! Thanks❤️
Very good thank you.
Hi Erica, how do you get the elephant and mouse ball into the ring(s)? Thank you! Gunny
When I find a large stash of energy boxes, in an adventure, I leave 1 or 2 behind for layer use. It's nice to find them when needed.
I have found that the top 5 tips and tricks video were very helpful. Thank you
Thanks lol I didn't even think about holding the button down to make room. Yesterday I downloaded this and ran out of room, spent a long while making room old school one at a time... So thanks again
Thanks for the throw away tip! I knew there had to be a faster way!
Hi ann
Pink bag video was very helpful for me.
I found the third tip helpful...it's about the only one that I didn't know.
I like the spinning clear my storage function. Just found.out the hold button and let it spin to clear room for storage. That's helpful. Thank you for the share. 💐
The make space in your inventory tip is good, thank you ❤️
When u run out of energy try going back to the other islands and collecting the energy that's been generated since the last time u were there.. sometimes there are chests to watch for energy on the other islands as well.
You don't have that much energy, don't worry to much keep on the path and eliminate things on that path until you reach the goal set for you. It's fun and allows you to get through that island quicker.
I've figured a lot of these out. The old down idea And work on completing one thing at a time are helpful.
Absolutely obsessed with this game its so much fun, yhe tips and tricks are so helpful
