You can type scan into the terminal after landing and it will scan the planet and tell you how many objects there is to collect and how much they are worth.
Really enjoying the videos! I've been replaying the first 3 vids and watching the different perspectives. I love the chemistry between you all, the commentary and the shenanigans that occurs.
God if only that dupe bug happened before the last day XD my best moment in this game was having a teammate getting that bug and using our unlimited money to buy like 30 boomboxes and putting them all over the moon and facility
I might be a tryharder in this game but it's so funny to see how john and his team is trying to learn and actually are taking it all in and enjoying it. Hope I see more vids cause it's very entertaining ☺️

I had a Coke Zero today and it made me think of you. It wasn't bad at all just different and way better than diet coke. Sugar is hard to get off of though so I'm baby stepping it.
They should make it that you can take a piece of any monsters u kill, so that theres a motivation for players to engage w monsters. Risk vs reward kinda thing. Then sell the monster piece for monies
only 8 mins in but, if you want to see how much is left on the planet, type "scan" on the console and it tells you :) turret numbers are shown on the ship, same as locked doors, so it'll say "D5" etc, I know gab read the bestiary for the baboon hawks but the best way to get them to F off is to bark at them out loud to intimidate them. This game is full of little quirks like that :) to access the bestiary and read about the creatures you can just type "bestiary" on the console.
The creature you encountered towards the end of the video with the spider, "mouth thing" I think you referred him as (I call him leech XD his mouth does look kinda like it). I think they're called Spore lizards but to me they're the least harmful, even more so imo compared to the loot bugs. They're just intimidated by players, and so they do their mouth sound and rattle their tail, but basically a player looking at them is enough to startle them they do that, then run away. They probably stick close to the area, depends how far you may end up scaring them but ultimately they're harmless. Some say getting too close they will unleash a poison/mist cloud and *may* bite you. I've only ever hit him to see what it's like and he unleashes a poison cloud, but I guess he never tried to attack me other than that, which makes him my favourite since he's pretty docile LOL.
i don't know if you already figured out later in the episode or someone pointed it out, but you can check the total worth of items on each moon! i think you gotta check the command list and it'll be mentioned there
Good to see you all having fun with this game. If you ever want to try out some cool mods that don't alter the feel of the base game too much, there's a couple called "Symbiosis" and "Diversity" that do some cool stuff with monster interactions. Thanks for the video!
@@NahidFrollo Yeah I get ya... A fine line between backseating and actually helping. I said that because I was one of the people who told him to scan but for the reason of them gunghoing it with no flashlight and the scanner could provide a lil light to aid them.
I am gonna keep asking why they don't have a volunteered person on the console to give others layout & enemy position info, open and shut doors, disable turrets AND rescue someone with the teleporter.
although definitely some people enjoy being on the ship and helping people dodge stuff, turn off turrets/open doors, and teleporting folks back, not everyone would and their primary objective is to have fun lol. also most of them are recording and uploading to their own channels as well and staying on the ship might not be the best content. plenty of people are out there aiming to play as optimally as possible and I'm sure they would appreciate views if watching the way John and co. play is bothersome to you
