Sack is the old anglified term for sherry, particularly Spanish sherry made from white grapes. It derives from the French word "sec", meaning dry, as It is less sweet than red grape sherries.

Nothing says “drink our beer” like a cameo by Grizzly Adams and chasing Ben with a truck. The 1970’s was a stupid time in the history of marketing.
At least they were trying to prevent litter, notice they showed the man placing the pull tab into his pocket.

I love to drink Hamm's beer while listening to Bachman-Turner Overdrive records and working on my 4-wheeler. Seriously. When I get back in my big rig and hit the road I won't be back home for a week, so I'll be ready for some ice cold Hamm's and a few shots of Canadian Club straight up. You losers can stick to your Bud Light. And Schmidt's and Genesee both suck, you Yankees. Saskatoon, represent!

I remember some of these ads, but the Budweiser ad that I remember was the one where the clidsdales bowed down to the Twins Towers. After September 11th 2001.
