The pianist interweaves so harmoniousely with the other two musicians that all the three are sounding as one. The balance is really excellent!!!! Bravo!!!!!
Unexpected sensible and pure expression, Really incredible. The clarinet is not shouting on the higher notes as unfortunately so often happens, but as the cellist does too, is incredibly expressiv singing every note very decently and with great warmth. The balance betwee the three musicians is fantastiic and this is in great measure thanks to the positioning of the microphoes. The cellist excels in his human sound and decent, warm vibrato.
looks like a standard one, but the ideal choice would be a typical Rovner 1R model just because of the sheer convenience of only have to deal with one screw, and because of the superior sound
Olivier Patey has quickly become one of my favorite clarinetist. Such a wonderfully clear sound.

I feel that music by Brahms is best performed with a maximum of clarity as in this intriguing interpreration.

Why oh why does there have to be that certain someone who will always yell out "bravo" before anyone even gets a chance to digest the ending or clap?
Which ligature is he using?
