Hiking Umstead State Park, Sycamore trail (part 1)

This in my opinion so far is the most scenic trail in Umstead. It's about 7.5 miles and is primarily a loop. It's easy to get off the trail in the beginning due to lots of little off shoot trails . I found myself backtracking. But the scenery is awesome. Lots of water features and deep woods apmospher help you to relax get that feeling of escaping the grind of day to day life.
