Agassi's ball striking was the best in the HISTORY of the sport.

@@vivalapatria3740 yup, that's why he has 0 slams.

@@魚-c3d Well so does Nalbandian and he was one of the best ballstrikers ever as well. There comes more to tennis than just ballstriking.

The ball doesn’t move the same anymore. Seems like it’s slower and encourages longer rallies.

    Federer just beautiful to watch

I still maintain that if you put both in their physical prime, then Agassi would cone out on top. His aggressive ball striking gives him the edge overall

Agassi's ball striking improved with time, so not really.

No. Peak for peak, Roger would still come out on top. Big3 only loses to each other at their peak.

@@jakehuang3545 Exactly. Or perhaps Delpo or Wawrinka in godmode.

Federer could destroy Agassi just by using the slice you think Agassi would be able to lower his back all match, Federer doesn't have to use his other weapons.

agree, andre had been playing with a back injury since 2003, his movement had already been impeded. yet he held his ground against prime federer. anyone who dismisses agassi have only started watching tennis the past 10 years.

Never understood why Agassi always left the middle serve so open. Agains Sampras it was killing how many aces he could make through the middle and later with Fed again.

As great as Roger was he couldn't hang with Adrae from a groundstroke perspective. It took his serve and volley game to upset him ? Agassi played him tough for his age ? Look federer was 3 inches taller and 12 years younger. Imagine a 25 year old agassi who is healthy would kick some A --- Ss ?

Of course, Agassi was a better groundstroker than Federer. Alongside Djokovic and Nadal, Agassi was the best groundstroker ever, and he probably hit the ball even cleaner. But Federer was more resourceful. Way more. If he couldn't keep up with Agassi's groundstrokes, he would exploit other areas of the tennis game. With his prime quickness, his unmatched footwork and his nuclear forehand, Federer would be always competitive against any version of Agassi. And I would favour him any time. So yeah, it would have been cool to see a prime Agassi against a prime Roger, and a prime Djokovic (2011) against a prime Roger (2005-06), but it never happened, and we'll never know.

Andree Agassi is one of the best players that ever played, in all honesty he is probably top 5 player ever but.... against this man he plays in this video, at that time 2004-2008.... unless you are named Rafael Nadal and on clay you are pretty much done, even that was not guarantee.

Agassi played his best tennis in his 30s. His experience, focus and motivation were higher. He had too much drama going on in his life in his 20s.

Andre has beaten Federer in their 3 first matches....( basel 1998 1R, US Open 2001 4R & Miami 2002 F).It was before Roger ' s Prime. Since then, Roger won next 8 matches but Andre always showed great level ( except Master Final match in Houston 2003) even his best years had passed....

andre injured his back in mid 2003. he was never the same since as it impeded his movement. i think if that didn’t happen, he would have beaten federer more.
