Discussion on cylindrical coordinates, spherical coordinates and 3 examples involving conversion of points from one system to another.
Correction: starting at 6:48 the operation that im referring to is DOT product, NOT CROSS PRODUCT.

good afternoon po, isn't the cross product of two perpendicular unit vectors equal to 1? since the angle between them is 90 degrees. and then, the cross product of two identical, or parallel, vectors is equal to zero, since the angle between them is 0 degrees. thus, a_rho cross a_phi is equal to a_z.

yes.. i included that in the description of the video.. I was referring to dot product, not cross product
