To be honest, if Deidara were able to live up to that stage of fight when he can use C4 Karura, he would have won since Itachi doesn't have anything to counter it. Not even Susanoo would be able to block nano-bombs at such scale, Yata Mirror wouldn't save him either

@@artist0154 I don't think he was able to use C3 in that condition, more like using C0 was his last resort as it uses last reserve of one's chakra

It was voted #10 in the series (OG + Shippuden) in the fan poll they ran. It's pretty highly rated.
