OOPS, what if the gutter height of 500mm may not be achieved, I believe to avoid constant maintenance a super large rain head, say a 600 mm round with a flat against the wall, I am fed up with cleaning the tiny rain heads. When blocked, there should be an over flow bypass to avoid wall, deck, ground erosion. One of my solutions to small gutter height includes a trap with a bleed tube to empty the pipe when the rain stops, rain heads are too small with a horizontal screen, when one removes the screen some debris falls into the pipe, the rain head needs a
large overflow for when the screen is loaded. As for first flush, the hole in the rubber disc blocks with slime, I punched a larger hole, one gets totally wet when cleaning these when blocked. The constant maintenance is a pain. Either all gutters and valleys are covered or get rid of the trees, either way, for me, the cost is prohibitive.
