The song itself is like courtship song where the singer sings his admiration to the girl he loves. For the story in the music video, I think they wanted to focus on the lyrics that signifies a person's yearning for the girl he loves and telling how he's a better fit for her than the guy she's with. The prechorus to chorus can be translated like this "He doesn't know what he's wasting while I am here just waiting. Just like your other admirers in the corner, I promise, I am not crazy, you're my one and only queen. Will you give me a chance to have your love? My muse, let me be your man instead? I promise to god, i will not get tired of you, my queen" As for the chicken headpiece, i think they were inspired by the Philippines legendary bird which is the Sarimanok. Basically, it's a bird that has feathers with various colors. It usually is used to signify regal and power. I think this song is a representation of our youth, on how fast it will be gone as time goes by without you realizing it. I've been listening to Dilaw for 2 consecutive days on repeat. I alternate Dilaw on Spotify and their live performance at The Cozy Cove. There was really a difference you can tell, because their live performance was nicely done esp the adlibs and the second voice done by Sammy. It's way way better than the recordings. In DILAW, at first you can see that Maloi only paints black and abstract, because that's how she represents her current life. Until Maki came who represented the DILAW (Yellow in English) of her life. So suddenly her life changed. Maki helped make Maloi's life happy and colorful. You can also see that Maloi's previously black paintings have become colorful. But in the end she realized that Maki was just her imagination. She realized that she was the Dilaw (Yellow) of her life. She chose happiness on her own.

As a BiniLat (Bini X Alamat fandom), I'm just going to patiently wait for more Alamat reactions 😭 , they're a male group though, so I'm not sure if you will do more of them 😂 but just in case, I want to let you know my bias is Alas, the rapper. They do explore different genres and of course, always always with a touch of Filipino culture. People recommending Day and Night here but I honestly think Dayang and Dagundong are the most solid when it comes to their upbeat songs. Dayang's choreography used I think three martial arts from Mindanao and a bit of traditional folk dance. It's fun and cute. 😅 For sentimental ones, Walang Hanggan and Sa Panaginip Nalang are on the top, the songs are connected in terms of the theme (confirmed by the composer), you are going to LOVE the vocals.
