Dear ANT R U OK - Your comments always make me happy as I'm still in the "Beginner" category. But it's slowly improving, although it's getting harder every day. I no longer look at how many photos and videos are uploaded to the Internet per unit of time - it makes me sick. Thanks again - hannes w.

Beautiful scenes, artfully filmed. 6:43 whisky or rum? 11:30 cooking with hannes.w and company channel coming? Last, note you are experimenting with software which blurs faces. Is this to prepare as the new Thai law evolves to enforcement next year? My feeling is a wider agreement between countries (EU etc) will eventually protect/prevent showing people's faces even in public without permission (as it should be really). STL

Dear SideTripLife - Many thanks for the detailed comment. How the content of the Sang Som bottle can still be defined after 50 years, I cannot judge; the bottle is practically shrink-wrapped and that's probably a good thing! And yes, that's right: the protection of personality! When I was still taking photographs (still using roll film back then) I contacted the people concerned before I took pictures. After developing the photos, I sent a so-called voucher copy. It was time consuming and costly, but the right way. Even after uploading many of my photos, I had to provide different contact details for each person (even those shown from behind!) so that the picture was approved for sale. In order to minimize pixelation in the future, I will probably change my camera work slightly and maybe only pan over cooking areas - hannes w.
