China has the right to expect that The United States of America obey, observe the code of conduct already determined by it's Faith named Christianity. The goods traded by China for America allows lower incomes to acquire modern goods that otherwise would be afforded. Competition in valuable technology, for everyone, depends on price of those goods and their availability. Most Americans are "working class", and limited in finances. We are not all rich and comforts by use or provided by technology reflects an advanced society.

That's just how the CCP do things. They sport a perma-smile on their faces, say all the right things to Western folks, while expertly hiding their true malicious intent. Ordinary white folks in the USA are a soft target, and the former Chinese ambassador won't waste an opportunity to remind them that he is a "friend of the USA". By the way, the former ambassador became China's foreign minister just 8 months ago but has not been seen in public for 2 months now. Speculation is that he has been 🔕 silenced for having an affair with a Chinese woman who has dual Chinese/US citizenship. Disappearing people is one of CCP's many specialities.
