Professional photography workflow: Save every shoot to a minimum of 3 different drives after each shoot. I work off one drive, two are back ups and I also back up to blue ray disks. I shoot high resolution RAW and it's too expensive for cloud storage. Because i edit on both my desktop and laptop, I keep everything on external drives and not on my computers. I could pick up from where I left off when switch platforms. I edit in both Lightroom and Photoshop.
