- The Bat Bros try out the first BBCOR to 2022: the Elite One Pro from Axe Bat.
To get an idea for its performance, we put it up against the DeMarini Voodoo One and Mizuno B21 Hot Metal in an on-field test as well as an exit-velo Rapsodo test.

@@lydiaholt8082 these are all bbcor but I’m pretty sure all leagues now that allow USA also allow bbcor. If not for USA bats I recommend the -5 demarini the goods
I got that bat half way through the season because my voodoo broke, and it did fantastic. I personally love it.
We hit super well with it, the velos just weren’t crazy high. Would be great for hitting for average though
Yeah it did well. Hit 7 home runs with it. I’ll still use in summer ball as well. Y’all are the best🔥🔥🔥

I have always had an axe bat and I have had no complaints. I am an 8th grader playing on my high school varsity baseball team with my highest exit velo being 80 mph, so I have no complaints with the axe bat

have an older axe model, red 2019 axe hyperwhip, its sweer spot is exactly the size and where the word AXE is on the bat, this 2022 elite one the sweet spot exactly same place but about a centimeter more on each side of the word axe, thats about 4” on the old and 5” on the new model. thats about 25% bigger, ps those are estimates

A excellent bat for you to try is the -5 cat 7, used it all throughout little league and the thing hits absolute NUKES

Every demarini bat breaks like crazy. After my college got tired of the axe bats we got demarinis but had to get new ones shipped in because we had like 7 bats break in the first month of the season. The only ones that don’t break are the goods one piece

My velo acp got to short for me and I've been swinging my friends cat 8 I like it feels like it has a huge sweet spot and a lot of pop but the cat 9 is pretty good but I've never swung it should I get that or save my money and get the cat 8

I got the cat8 connect yesterday it is very heavy it’s my first bbcor I’m only 11 years old but it has a lot of pop compared to a USA bat

I’ve never liked the axe bats but I want to start swinging them
Borrow one and take some BP. My kids really liked them when they were younger and then moved away from them. I think they are great for younger kids who do not pay attention to how they grip the bat because you just naturally line everything up when you pick it up. My personal theory is that Axe still has not figured out how to optimize a single hitting surface.

I think the first bbcor bat axe ever released is their hottest. I’ve never seen balls hit further with a bbcor in my life. Axe elite hybrid i think it was called, still got one in the collection

Check out Bolt batting gloves. Little pricier but so far much more resilient.
