Got to be one of my top hardy aroids. I want to follow this guy for a year and watch as he develops an inflorescence, hopefully a seed head , his roots and leaves and then end the season larger!
@@jogg6404thats an awesome idea. I've done that with more rhizomatus aroids between two sheets of glass but I'll have to have a think about how to do it with a half kilo tuner. That would be so exciting to see
As long as the petiole is coming out of a node. The meristematic cells are found in the areas around the nodes and you need those cells to spark growth. They root in days for me in the X-stream
Just followed your series there, thanks for doing this, very informative. Bought two of these in August and already noticed they leaves are on the way out, end Sept. When would you remove from the pot and dry store them? Also when they start to wake up, should they be kept under lights and heat...Im guessing room temp. Thanks again.

I wonder if there is a clear substrate you could grow it in to see the underground changes.
