Right now I’m thinking next game’s contest might be for a pitch, depending on which game I end up doing next (two possibilities right now) Will be deciding in the next couple of days and hoping to start filming next week
Little Army Designer treats star player duos as single star player for the limit, but that of course doesn’t necessarily mean that’s the correct interpretation - they could have gotten it wrong. I’d be curious to know what the exact rule is on that. That was the first time I’ve used a star player duo so I’d never given it much thought. But yeah as you say, I can always invoke TO discretion if need be. There are actually going to be three star players in the tournament that were each only NAF approved for specific tournaments, so we’re already not standard as far as star players go for this tournament. The only hard rules I had when making also these teams - other than team value - was no more than 4 skills on a single player and no stat upgrades, so one of the 32 teams has a weather mage for example, which I don’t think is allowed in many tournaments
I had a feeling you’d like the Frightful Fourteen. We’ve spent enough Blood Bowl road trips talking comic books to make that assumption. I had fun doing all the voices and dialogue for them, though I was disappointed that Hobgoblin and Tarantula got injured so quickly - I had some ideas for dialogue I never got to use

Enjoying the video -- but I believe Lucien and Valen count as both possible star players (0-2)... leaving no space for Eldril Sidewinder.
(of course, the tournament commish is free to modify or change that rule as they wish... so really it's a non-issue.)
