THANK YOU for understanding the viewer and empathizing that we just want to get into the info. That compassion WITH the very speedy & good intro to who you are by your links built trust enough to truly respect what you had to say AND THEN another thank you for breaking down the video into segments AND putting it in description (instead of a viewer having to do it) so we knew what each moment was going to be spent on or coming back to it for easier finding when we came back. Just so much respect because your careful planning!
I think you should use scissors and cut the plastic pot away instead of trying to pull the roots through the pot. Anyway, re-potting looks tricky, good luck!!
Oh gosh those roots! 😱 but honestly we love to see it lol maybe you can get some hardy scissors and cut through the plastic. I know it’s such a waste of the plastic pot but if the roots are all snug it will certainly rip too many to pull it out. Very beautiful plant. One day I will get one!
Your plant looks happy and healthy! Question, do you eventually put the rooted cuttings back with the parent? How do you make room to stick the new cuttings in? I find my hoyas are usually in pretty small pots and it can be challenging to put new cuttings back in without disturbing the mother plant.
That's a really good question. It's at the stage now that I can't stick it back into the mother pot which is why I potted them up in a separate nursery pot. Before the mother pot got too dense though, it was quite easy to shove the new cuttings back in. It was more difficult to do so after they root in water because it disturbed the soil more. Much easier to just stick unrooted cuttings back in. My suggestion though (and what I'm planning to do) is to repot my plant and give it more room to grow/more space to stick cuttings back in :) Hope that helps!
Hello. Would love to how the Linearis is going. Did you ever do a repot video with it. I have searched but can not find anything. She is a beautiful Hoya
My hoja is getting sad and dropping lots of leaves! It was very happy and healthy where it was sited, and putting out lots of new growth. I'm wondering if its getting too dry with the winter heating? What would you do for falling leaves? Looks so sad :( THANKYOU
Thanks for the info. Just got my Hoya Linearis today and I am so happy. A whole full plant with long 3 foot growth for 10€/$11!! I live in Germany and the prices are somewhat cheaper. In June I bought 10 cuttings for 10€ and attempted to propagate them in water but to no avail. Not being One that gives up easily I decided to get a well established plant and try again. Most of the conditions are at hand. I wanted to repot her in my mixture but I’ve learned from my String of Hearts to leave it in the soil that She came in. I just give her water and she too is amazingly long and full and she flowers the whole year. Good point about “Balding“. She gets light but with the String of Hearts I mist the top and that stimulates the stems to grow new limbs. Is the Linearis water shy? I will attempt to propagate her in a few months or I’ll wait until spring. All depending on how She acclimates to her new home. Thanks for the video. If you can try to buy from eBay.de. Some of the Sellers do ship to the US and it might be cheaper.Take care.✌🏿

That's what I was thinking of doing. I would rather sacrifice the pot! Thanks for your suggestion 💕 Hope you find one soon!
WOW! Gorgeous Hoya! Great 🪴video.
Thank you so much for watching!
Would love to see an update video on the propagation xx
Thanks for letting me know! I might do a combined video with all the propagation updates including this one in the near future so stay tuned!
Your video is very helpful, thanks for sharing your experiences. 👍❤
I just got a linearis from etsy. I think it’s like 5 small cuttings, hopefully in time it will grow as lush as yours! Good tips, thanks!
I have no doubt it will! Good luck!

Hi there, are the leaves yellowing before it drops?
I just got one and its in very thick dense soil. should I repot it into bark?
I have no trouble with single nodes, they root quickly and begin vining in a couple of weeks.

Thank you, Fungal is on the root. How can I help them?
Hi Grace what was the brand of fertiliser that you use?
Hi there I use GT foliage focus! 😊
Di you Have video about the waitii Hoya??
Hi Michelle, not yet but I might in the future!
Try not to water when it puts pedancles and you will end up with beautiful flowers 😊
I'll try this! I did notice my mathilde peduncles blasting as well when I watered it 😅
No, it is blaring because of the roots. Mine bloomed when 10 months old, prolifically. Pot it up and you’ll see blooms.
Cut the pot off. That's the best way to not damage the roots.
Cool video.
Does anyone have tips for linearis growing in pon?
The mealy bugs could dry out the peduncles, hence no flowers. They dry out my orchid buds.
linearise!
Riseeeee
I chopped mine as soon as I got it because I couldn’t handle the uneven lengths too 🤣
Hahah! It's a good call, get propping early 😋
Linearise!
Rise of the Linearis!
