Starring Talya Çelebi and Cenay Türksever, "Gelin" is the life story of two people from entirely different worlds: Hançer, who gives up her dreams for her loved ones on the one hand, and Cihan, who has fire in his eyes on the other.
Hançer, who gets her name from her sharp gaze, faces an offer that will turn her life upside down. Taking advantage of the fact that Hançer is poor and has a family that will not cause trouble, Mukadder offers her to marry her son and give birth to a son. Hançer, who dreams of finding the love of her life and having a happy marriage, first rejects this offer, but when she learns that her brother has a fatal illness, she is forced to accept the offer.

I honestly don't understand how yesterday's episode was followed by this snoozing, uneventful one. One hour of absolutely nothing happening, except for Beyza having more space than Hançer AGAİN.

Again we come away with nothing at all of anything. We saw more of everyone else than we did of Hance and Cihan. The most we got was Hance asking Cihan to get checked and him not wanting to talk to her, the rest was all side stories. No cliff hanger to keep us hooked and waiting for the next episode, knowing its another week away? Its disappointing because it has so much potential to me 100% much better than it is.
I'm watching perhaps the 10 minutes that do not include the side stories. We see way too much of Beyza.

I agree with the storyline being too slow. I know that they are establishing the characters, but having only 2 episodes a week will kill their views because it’s not moving quickly enough. It definitely needs at least 5 episodes per week. Who agrees with me?

Hancei Don’t be a doormat for Cihan! He treats you with contempt & rudeness. Stand up to him just becuz you asked for payment does not give him or his ex or mother to treat you badly. You’re giving them a life long gift ( if all goes well) and a precious one.
Hancer needs to realize they need her, more than she needs them. Don't check for Cihan, deal with him as needed. And for goodness sake stop crying and whining, because if you had told the truth from the beginning the baby would have been born, and the series would not be dragging..

Também concordo Cihan e a prima estão juntos na mesma fizeram este acordo do casamento para não falarem deles porque preservam muito a boa aparencia mesmo sendo uma familia de ipocritas chian nunca vai ter uma relação de amor com Hancer porque ele gosta da prima ele não queria devorciar se a prima continua no casarão para dormir com ele e terem relações sexuais ele como homem nunca estaria tanto tempo sem mulher não se vê isso porque são cenas privadas ele nunca vai gostar de Hacer só quer que ela lhe dê um filho proveta e depois manda ela embora como um objeto esta série não têm interesse nenhum para nos estrangeiros isto é chocante é proibido fazer bebés provetas em casais que não têm problemas ele não têm problema de ter duas mulheres em casa enquanto aqui em Portugal é proibido parece que ela quer pedir dinheiro a ele para tratar a doença do irmão uma vez que ela não ficou com dinheiro nenhum da primeira vez foi embora e quem ficou com quase todo o dinheiro foi a primeira mulher que roubou do quarto e ela é que fica com a culpa que o dinheiro foi para a conta dela mas foi para a conta da primeira mulher foi isso que eu entendi mas como ainda não consegui falar a lingua Turca não sei se esse problema do dinheiro está correta 😢😢

We need the scriptwriters to fix this issue Cihan & Hander need to be in the same house the same room. Cihan needs to start change with Hander more close more romantic. No invitro. They need to do something with Bayza to get out of the house. This series has been so good. Both we need to speed up a little between Hander & Cihan . Please 🙏🏻❤️😊

I think that Cihan will be much closer to Hancer when he finds out about Beyza's abortion. I hope they find out soon what Beyza did.
If this is a marriage of convenience to produce a baby, there will be no romance, so they do not need to live in the same house. Cihan only needs viable eggs from Hancer, so they produce an heir, and he can ride of into the sunset with the future heir of the Holding. But Hancer if she really is not naive should understand that nothing in life is free, her role in the marriage has is finished once she gets pregnant and delivers a healthy baby boy. There is no need for the marriage to continue. However, she does not know that they plan on taking the baby from her soon after, and leaving her at the door.

Instead of paying off the debtors, Derya is spending the money on herself. Hopefully Cihan finds out who withdrew the money so Hancer doesn’t get blamed. Of course Beyza got out of trouble once again by coming up with a lie about why she owed Yonca. Her jealousy is so out of control that she is planning on doing harm to Hancer. I hope that Hancer continues to refuse IVF and instead tells Cihan they either get pregnant the natural way or their marriage is over. That would surely put Beyza in her place. Hancer also needs to tell Cihan that Beyza has been visiting her and talking about his love for his ex wife and making her doubt things. Cihan then needs to tell Hancer about Beyza,that way Hancer won’t listen to her anymore. Then again it could cause more issues between them because she will think he in fact does still love Beyza since he is keeping her in the mansion while she is in the old house. Hancer needs to hear that Mukaddar plans on taking her baby away and giving it to Beyza, then kicking her out. Maybe then if Hancer gets pregnant she will run away and go where no one can find her and have her baby. I think Yasmine would help her if she did this. Maybe then Cihan would wisen up.

If this drama gets any slower it will stop.
Nothing is happening, we have barely seen Hancer and Cihan in this episode, the writers are giving more screen time to the hateful Beyza and Derya and her Mother in Law.
Last nights episode ended on such a positive show of defiance from Hancer and tonight shes has reverted to a miserable, crying, pathetic woman once again.
Sadly if the writers don't start to move this story forward more quickly I think they may loose viewers, they are ruining the series by labouring on the same things every week, if this was a daily series then it maybe acceptable but twice a week isn't enough.

There is this Mexican soap opera on Netflix like this. I hope the writers come to their senses and take parts of it. Cihan is attracted to Hancer. How will a young man resist his married wife he has feelings for. No amount of pride will stop a man from sleeping with his legal wife. This story makes no sense
