Hey Tim, very informative video thanks for sharing. When I bought my KIOTI CK3510 SE most of the options you talked about came standard on the "SE" model. I went with the SE because the up cost was about equal to adding one set of aftermarket rear remotes but you end up with all the goodies. Have good one and stay safe,TC.

I bought a RX6620 cab. And was not satisfied by the dealer did not do a complete prep of my tractor.
Added a quick hitch, cameras front and rear, (bucket quick attach), hydraulics for tilt &t link 3 hyd.,usb volt meter , grapple very useful, third function, and industrial tiers. This tractor is a beast! One think I am not to happy with is the regeneration feature EPA sucks! But the good feature is that you can regen on demand.
Overall very happy! 170 hrs 1year.

More sound observations and advice and well presented.Tim and Christy! How many times have I heard Compact tractor owners say..”I wish I had ordered (name your option) when I bought the tractor” Your series helps to identify options and features to consider when evaluating tractor needs or “wants.” One thing I stumbled into was the “top and tilt” option that was already on a new tractor. A very handy feature for my use. Thanks Tim and Christy. Blessings.

Looking forward to more in this series, what a great watch. Can't wait to see where you go from here. It's obvious you've put a great deal of thought into what to cover and the progression. As a side note, I'm impressed with Kioti, it looks like they make a well engineered and equipped tractor. As others have said, it's great you cover more than one brand. We own and maybe prefer a John Deere, but after this video, I don't know, maybe I could be swayed if we had a local dealer.

My Grandpa taught me to always get on and off tractors and horses from the left side. And my tractor it is easier to get on the tractor from the left. The throttle, HST pedals, joy stick, 3-point controls, hand brake, and everything else which can make something move, are on the right hand side.
Not sure why Grandpa, taught me that, but now that I’ve been through innumerable safety classes from OSHA, and a few industrial safety, hygiene, and ergonomics: I mount pretty much all equipment from the left, and many of the larger construction, mining, and industrial equipment, can’t be mounted from the right. The right is where the things are which make cause things to move.

I purchased a Kioti DK4710SE Hydrostatic drive with a cab just before 'rona. I grew up on our family dairy farm driving a lot of John Deere and had a bias toward it. After looking at Deere, Kubota, Massey, LS, and Kioti, it was tough to argue to price/value of the LS and Kioti brands. The Kyoto was certainly a good purchase and I'm still happy with the decision.... and the extra cash left in my pocket by not getting Deere/Kubota.

Hey Tim great video! The telescoping 3 point lift arm ends and sliding pin slack adjusters are life changing for sure! Massey also offers a premium cab above the standard cab on the 1840M and 2800M series that will give you an air ride seat and all LED cab lighting along with some other features. Another great feature that I know kioti offers in their small tractors is the auto stop PTO, turns PTO on and off when you lift and lower 3 point hitch with the PTO on. Another great feature that I feel is a big one is any manufacturer that offers the ground level fueling I know Massey amd Kioti offer it, much nice than lifting a cab up over your hood or rear 3 point hitch and spilling fuel on your equipment, I have a fuel tank and pump and even with that it sure is nice. Can’t wait to see the next one.

On placement of the loader control stick: On the LX2610 ROPS model (and your 3310), the placement has its issues. As I’m using the rear snow blower this winter (even today), I find it best to lock out the loader control, as I’m sitting sideways and driving backward. I’ve got a plow on the loader arms, and find if I don’t lock it out, sometimes my knee hits the stick, and I find my plow dragging on the ground. I like the stick being near the fender, but would prefer if it were electric rather than connected to the valves directly, because of this issue with the long rod down to the valve being where my knee might land when working in reverse.

Options sometimes even depends on the models within each brand. Our Kubota Grand L that we are getting soon will have 3 rear remotes with a lever for each one. The labor rate is the same to install 1 or 3. So you can save some money when done at the time of purchase as well as time. The standard L series doesn't have this available nor does it have the option available to autoconect the skid steer Attachments on the front of the loader. It's nice to have these along with an integrated third function. I agree with Tim that it is better to just have it as part of the tractor as an OEM part. However not everyone can do that so it is good you have options in the after market like Summit.

Perhaps you could touch on the differences between the various 3-point hitch types. My machine has a Class II which wasn't a problem for the Land Plane, but when I got my snowblower, it only had a Class I setup. I learned how to convert with the replaceable ball ends on the lift arms and an adapter sleeve on the top link, but at the time it wasn't the easiest subject to research.

    Very informative tractor tech!
I was curious about kioti tractors before my purchase of a kubota! I didn’t have a dealer very close to me …about an hour away! The kubota dealer was 15 min away! I love my kubota 3902 but wish it had more standard features like the kioti does! Like a rear hydraulic function and even a 3rd function kit….also more lift capacity would be nice….Kioti always seemed to be a knock off from the kubota ,because at a distance they look very much the same and unless your familiar with each tractor, you wouldn’t be able to tell them apart from 30 ft away!

I have had a JD 2038R for 4 years now. I have been a JD person for 25 years. The 2038R I have now has been nothing but trouble. This thing has been on the shop every year for major issues.

Atlantic Tractor in the Maryland area. I bought the tractor from Gardner but JD has been making the smaller dealers sell to a larger dealer. I am not a fan of Atlantic Tractor, I would not buy from them. Only ever taken back to the dealer for repairs.

Here's some advice if you want one anytime soon. Find a dealer that actually has one. Waited almost 4 months for a kubota, dealers won't do transfers because they're all independent. Same with kioti, had no idea when anything was going to show up. Called JD last week, and picked up my 2038r yesterday. They just had to bring it over from another location, and I upgraded both buckets, got both from JD in less than a week. They're also my closest dealer too so win win.

Great series for anyone looking to buy a tractor. Looking forward to a video on the split brakes. Moved up a size in tractors last year and current tractor has split brakes. Haven't played around with them yet but it would be great to hear some tips on use from someone with experience.
