Ramin Karimloo should really play Javert in the original production some day. Even though this is just for fun he shows here that he has a FANTASTIC low range that we don't get to hear very often. He was a terrific Valjean but i think he would be even better as Javert. Would be happy to see you Ramin as the next Inspector Javert in London.

First off, Ramin is super amazing. Second, his Javert reminds me of his character in Anastasia (I forgot the name), especially since they are very similar personalities.

When i've read on Ramin's twitter about that kiss, i wondered whether they had done it as Marius and Eponine or as Javert and Valjean. It's sooooo clear, even in the book, that Javert is a repressed gay who is obsessed with Valean for reasons that have very little to do with a torn paper and an imprisonment he had freaking served already.
You shouldn't say it's "clear" that Javert was gay. It's very easy to find homosexual subtext in just about every heated relationship between members of the same sex. That's just one of about ten equally valid interpretations.
