There is a theory about a demo from a 1986 Valentino's album called "Nowhere" .
I wouldn't believe if "Fond my Mind" was from any time before the early 90s. I agree that his voice and some of the instrumentals sound similar and so he may be the same singer in that song. The date on this is also misleading, it is stylistically from the late 80s, no way it is from '83. Not in a million years.

@@tbmoriginal I always imagined it was 1986-87 just based on the style. A lot of Italo-Disco from those years has these sounds, but not as much prior. There was a big transformation from 1984 to 1986 in the style of the genre.

Es obvio que Fond My Mind fue hecha sobre la base de canciones y esta es una de ellas. Algo así como un medley.
Si te das cuenta si se pone el instrumental de fond in my mind junto a esta cancion urante un tiempo suenan igual me refiero a que es el mismo instrumental un poco cambiado ademas que la voz de valentino es muy parecida a la del cantante de fond in my mind

To all the folks out there who are discussing possible connections between this and "Fond My Mind:" There is just so much groundless speculation going around. Listen to the production and instrumentation. First of all, this song is clearly from the late 80s and not 1983 (despite what it says on the video). The catalog number for the record comes AFTER another song he released on the same label in 1987, so this is either from 1987, or later. "Fond my mind" sounds like it is from even later (most likely the early 90s judging by how it sounds). The whole "Nowhere" album from 1986 thing is most likely a fiction imo. The songs could be related, but making all of this groundless speculation is not going to bring anyone closer to finding out anything new.
This song does NOT sound like it was released in the 90’s at all. If it was, then they were behind of the times in terms of sound.

I've been listening to italo for the past 15-ish years though and to my ears it sounds late 80s, but we'll sadly never really know the correct date because there isn't one on the record
@@MyHairIsAbnormal Yeah I also obsess over retro music and also make music myself so I know that this sound could definitely have been made in 1983, there are a lot of similar songs to this that released in the same year. Could honestly have released any time between then and 1989.
“Fond my mind” is most likely early 90s, and I strongly believe it uses samples from this song.

Where are they getting the information that valentino is dead other than discogs? We have no proof besides the one sentence saying he died in a car accident in 2004. But on his discography it links to a song he supposedly made in 2009.. How can a dead person make a song?

The beginning of this song (0:01) reminds the beginning of Fond My Mind, and 0:32 melody sounds like the keyboard solo of Fond My Mind. The voice is oddly and extremely simila, the accent is the same aswell . And Fond My Mind obviously was released around the same years as this, in my opinion Fond My Mind is "Valentino- Nowhere,1986" the mysterious demo song from one of Valentino's album
