Wow, what a gem you are and I had no clue you were from the suburbs of KC! What luck that you had your musical dad and grandpa, and the jazz greats of the time as teachers/influences... you are truly in my eyes the TOP progressive and contemporary jazz, Latin jazz, and jazz fusion KING and well deserve this award for your life's work and genius in creating some of the world's most beautiful music. My heart and spirit soar when I listen to you. It is so powerful that it is like LOVE and TRUE BLISS in musical form. There are no words to thank you for making the world a better place!
