Im patiently waiting for the inside video ! Keep it up dude. Psp is life.
This channel is such a joy to watch! I love to see the psp get the unlimited love it deserves!
Shameless plug over here, i installed the bluetooth mod in 2 of my psp, you can see the two videos on my channel ;)
Also, in each video description you will find the link to the tutorial that i followed which was a blast. I learned so much :)
Also also, i havent noticed any hiss or audio lag other than inside the xmb, but that is also common with the psp go with bluetooth out of the box. Can't wait to see you do the mod inside dude!
xD
I think have passed by your video at some point, checked out the tutorial you followed, he made a nice diagram. I like the location of the switch but interested to know how it feels on the pink, i may place mine else where.
Can't wait to finally get to it lol
Nice little finds, I didn't realize bluetooth adapters got so cheap
I have an side question....if I wanted to spraypaint the trigger buttons and the frame of the PSP, what would you use to seal of the paint so it doesn't easily scratch off?
I have not done much research into this topic, as much as I do plan to get into it yet.
But I guess it would be some type of clear coat, like what you do with a car, trigger buttons I would try painting only the bottom, as thats how most of them get the special color.
I’ve done this (built in to a pap 2000) I used that little one you had on the bag mine is called “ac 46 sdk” it was a pain to wire up and you have to crank the psp volume to 100% and still get a bit of hiss, I’ve also used “c28” to add BT to an iPod
Looking forward to seeing how you fit it into the psp 👍
Damn, in that case these 5.3 ones will prob work a even better than those DIY modules, I got plenty of volume on my WH-1000XM4 with the portable ones.
Thanks for sharing, cant wait to finally get proper BT internally lol
love your content, your channel is very nostalgic
Ask the seller what type of packaging you will get, is it the bubble or boxed.
I found the boxed ones are higher quality.
One video coming soon : )
great video man! i’ve seen some people say that 3000 joysticks work on E1000, can you confirm if they are indeed the same? my intention is to get the monster hunter 3000 convex joystick for my street e1000
Ahh if you are talking about the thumbstick top then yes, its the same, it shares a lot with the 3000
I would recommend you do a vita thumbstick mod instead, buy a spare slim thumbstick top + a black vita
Got a whole video about it here if you are interested:

I found it to be a whole lot better than the monster hunter one which I also have reviewed here:

Could you get a short 3.5mm male to female cable and route the receiver behind the psp? Would maybe be more comfortable
I do that in the video at 4:19 for the other models, but male to male
Hey I know this video is unrelated to my question, but what do you recommend using for scratchy UMD drives?
Dielectric Grease & SuperLube is what I usually use, anything similar should work, I plan to have a dedicated UMD repair video in the future
Nice
link for your ps3 theme?
Its a PS5 Theme:

Wonder if it'll work with the new Sony handheld that ridiculously doesn't support Bluetooth unless it's proprietary Sony product
Waaait a min, you gotta be kidding, they pulled a nintendo on us with the portal? breh
Need a modern wi-fi mod!

Where's the internal mod option with solder + arduino?!
I'll be doing that in another video, this is a preparation video for people who want to install a good system internally, a temporary solution till that happens and a solution for those who don't know how to solder
@@TotalKommando
Thanks! Please make 3.5mm still usable!!I've seen tons of internal bluetooth that replaces the 3.5mm instead of "adding" which they supposed to do.
Hope you can make one without an external switch as well, ATTiny85 would be a good start.
@@jackipiegg of course, my goal is to add function not remove. I don't have the skill currently to play with the ATTiny85, I plan to have small dip switches in a clean easy to get to place, one to turn on/off the bluetooth, and one to enable / disable the internal speakers, incase you want audio coming from both the bluetooth and psp speakers while also keeping things functional. should also help with battery usage
@@TotalKommando
Aw why not, we're all here to learn!
attiny85 is just a tiny 8 pin arduino, and YES you program it like any old arduino.
You could make it holding "SELECT" button for 5 seconds for pairing, or select+L to on/off bluetooth.
@@jackipiegg
I plan to get there eventually lol, I have a standard Arduino, and will get into it once im a bit more free, need to learn some simple programing first and with the help of gpt it should be easier. I got many other integration ideas that will use an Arduino, most of it will come later, including Bluetooth controller support. But I def love the idea of key mapping.
Also with these mods I try to simplify them as much as possible so its more accessible, once im done the series ill start getting serious bout it : )
Finished a mod? I would love to see it, share it on Discord: discord.gg/wCRe9WQ
Post Notes:
If it isn't clear already, these will most likely be used for the internal Bluetooth mod, so in the meantime you can get it, enjoy it use it, eventually if you are able to solder I will have an installation video.
