A good informative video...Running a brush through the shaft is a great idea, but I'm thinking a soft brush, so as not to scrape the inside of the shaft....I have always just flushed them out....My thanks to the gent that made this.
George, Once the motor of the aerator has been flooded, it can't be rebuilt. Your only option is to replace the motor. Here's a link where you can purchase a replacement motor. www.septictankparts.com/Septic-Air-Pump-Parts/Flagg-Air-Septic-Aerators/Model-340HT/Flagg-Air-340HT-Motor.html Feel free to call with any questions: 1-800-778-1540.
those motors are a raquet.,, you have to send them thru a distributor to norweco to be rebuilt,, mine is going out and the vendor wants 850.00 to rebuild it,, NEVER, EVER BUY A NORWECO SEPTIC SYSTEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You did not rebuild it, you only cleaned out the tube, I want to know how to rebuild it after water gets into the motor.
