Burns was probably still unconscious when Wallcroft pulled Griffin out, so he (Wallcroft) probably reacted to his death while Burns was still unconscious

You enabled the graphic content option. When you disable it: the truck will explode in front of Burns and Wallcroft
If you disabled graphic content this will happen if enabled then the child cutscene will happen

Yes they are there too but they are randomly generated for that mission but canonically they are there with price
