Hi, I love your videos and I just have a question for you. I would really appreciate if you could answer. I'm french and vegan and I'm gonna do an exchange student in China in one year. I'm hesitating between Nanjing and Shanghai. Which city is the most suitable for vegans according to you ? Is it difficult to find vegan food in China ? Especially as my Chinese is far from being perfect
Salut et bienvenue en Chine! I would go with Shanghai 100% Much more international and English-speaking, and loads of vegan restaurants and options. I share more regular tips on instagram if you want to see what it's like living in China day-to-day as a vegan :) Good luck!
@@veganinchina Thanks for answering that's really nice ❤️ But honestly my purpose is to perfect my Chinese so I'm going to try to speak Chinese not English xd. And by the way don't worry I already follow you on Instagram 🙃
@@samd6720 Fantastic! Shanghai is definitely more suitable for vegans I would say, whereas Nanjing would definitely force you to speak Chinese more. That being said, when I'm in Shanghai, I don't have a problem just speaking Chinese, I would just say it's a bonus not as much of a necessity as in other Chinese cities. If your goal is to improve your Chinese, you can definitely do it in Shanghai.
@@veganinchina @veganinchina It 'd be fantastic if you can mention the eateries' location in China that you've visited, thank you for your great work, much appreciated & God bless you & all 🙏😇🪄💕🌈✨
