Hey I way wondering, if you are planing on building either a day care Center or a day care at home with a living area above? Would be so cute to have a daycare for little infants and toddlers🥹

Maybe you could also build a nursing home for elders, with the new community objects, that would be perfect! I am just so excited for all your future builds AAAH😆

It's an adorable house and it's sweet you gave the Michaelson family a nice place to live. The absence of the grandfather is a real fail; I'm glad you're giving him justice in your save.
Your videos are always such a joy to watch! as for where the granddad should live, I always thought it would be really cute if there was a household of roommate elders and maybe the grandpa could live there? i love the idea of a handful of elderly friends who've decided to move in together in their old age!
Yeah, it's a bit weird that the grandfather didn't get included in the pack, especially when you consider that it looks like Kyle visiting is hardcoded so every family that gets played has him visit. I won't be getting the pack for a while, but my gut feeling is that even if you play as the Michaelsons, you're going to have Kyle turn up instead of the grandfather. It's one of those things that feels really lazy in the Sims, just having that one random event that triggers for everyone. I feel like it would be much more interesting if there were a few options, like if you had a Sim who had completed the postcards collection, instead of Kyle, you could be visited by Marie, Amelie, Luc, Clement or Patrice, their penfriend from Champs Les Sims, or someone from another place you get cards from. I hope Maxis either release the grandfather to the gallery, or put him in an SDX update.
With cars, I don't mind them being added as purely decorative objects. With how Sims 4 is, having them work doesn't make much sense. The more I think about it, the less I want working cars in the game - when you used them in 3, you lost all the time travelling from place to place. It also didn't always remember to bring everyone, but the others would just get a cab anyway so it never tied everything together as having a trip. If I was making those Machinima videos, then yeah, those interactions would be useful for making scenes etc, but as a game play they make me think of a redundant rabbit hole.
Something that occurred to me watching a Lilsimsie build is that it's a shame there is no interaction with the landscaping in the Sims. There wasn't in 3 (well, beyond the glitchy photography thing where trying to take photos of sunflowers almost never worked), and I think you could only weed them in 2. Unless I'm mistaken, even with the Seasons expansion, you don't get positive moodlets if you sit near a flower bed. Wouldn't it be cool if you could sit near say a bunch of roses and get maybe a calm or even flirty moodlet? Or you could get a happy moodlet from petrichor (the earthy scent produced when rain falls on dry soil) if you go outside following a rainfall? I wouldn't want to do the maintenance side, there are enough chores in the sims already, but something that rewarded being around good landscaping feels like it should be there, especially for sims who love the outdoors. I do miss the way the Sims 3 would have little variations of the same bush etc so you could place a few of them next to each other and they wouldn't look strange...
Anyway, random gameplay thoughts aside, well done, it's another lovely build, hope it stops you feeling bad about kicking the family out of their 'ouse!

Love this, I also evicted the Michaelson’s to place your last house build. You can tell how much you love playing the game and I love that you’re a builder who also actually plays the game. Would you ever consider doing a video showing us your current households that you’re playing off camera?
Maybe one day I will! I’ve debated many times just sharing screenshots of my sims in my discord but I take so many photos there is a lot to filter through 🤣😅

I think having him outside of the household would be better. Maybe you could have him in Newcrest in a ‘retirement home’ or like little granny flats and could put some other townies elderly residents in it. This was they can stay over but not take up space in the new world

For the sequoia pronunciation, I guess it’s meant in Italian (not sure if sequoia is a word also in other languages) and it’s roughly pronounced as suh-kwo-y-uh (it’s so weird thinking about the pronunciat of such a common word, beside in italian you just read every letter as they’re pronounced in Italian and it’s done)
You said San Sequoia correctly. Sequoia is a giant redwood tree in northern and central California. It is pronounced sih-coy-yah.
