@@enzoferrari315 Music, the polka was invented in the area of modern day Czech Republic, the name "polka" could mean something in the sense of "polish" - of the nation Poland, or it could mean "half dance" which would make sense since the time signature is 2/4. What you are hearing here is the Oberkrain sound from Slovenia, which consists typically of a quintet - accordion, tuba/bass, trumpet, clarinette and guitar. This type of polka in this video, was invented in the 1950's in Slovenia, with notable ensemble being the Avsenik group in it's many forms. Polka is older than that though, and since it was first played at least 150 years ago, it spread across Europe from Czech to Austria, Slovenia, Germany, even Netherlands. I think german migrants, or just people from around the Alps, probably mostly german, brought it to Mexico, where it caught on. There is also some polka enthusiasts in Uruguay as far as I know.
