The Kun Bokator competition at the 2023 Southeast Asian Games, with 21 events, took place at Hall C, Changvar Convention Centre, Phnom Penh, Cambodia from 4-8 May 2023.[1] The sport will mark its debut at the Southeast Asian Games. @@fatherdaughteryoutubechann9559 It's sad Bokator was almost lost due to the dark ages. We see that the ancient military martial art was ahead of it's time. It included Rear Naked Chokes as seen on temple carving which is the only tangible.
The Muay Thai Teep("push kick") is a rewording of Bokator khmer move called "thiah". The thiah is served to push back the opponent to offer a chance to counter with a spear stabs or blade attack around the shield. You can find that move on Angkor Wall carvings of a Khmer soldier front kicking and countering with spear stab.

I THINK CAMBODIA WAS HOPING FOR GOLD BECAUSE THIS MARTIAL ARTS IS FROM THEIR COUNTRY, BUT THEY FORGET THAT COUNTRY LIKE US THE AUSTRONESIAN PEOPLE LIKE PHILIPPINES, INDONESIA, MALAYSIA AND BRUNEI ARE AN EXPERT IN MARTIAL ART BECAUSE WE ALREADY HAVE PENCAK SILAT AND IT HAS BEEN PERFORMED IN SEA GAMES FOR DECADES, SO OUR COUNTRY GOT THE UPPER HANDS IN THESE KIND OF SPORTS. BUT GOOD FOR CAMBODIA FOR TRYING.

Actually mas magaling yung myanmar kesa indo. Ang problema sa ibang player kasi fatty ang legs nila kaya nahihirapan sila sa jump, sa back kick pati yung one leg raise lang. Yung cambodia parang ma outbalance na sa jump niya. Tapos jump turn niya laylay yung paa niya. Ang advantage ng Philippines ay dahil skinny siya madali niyang mabuhat katawan niya sa kada jump. Tapos yung mga kick power pang taekwondo at jetkondo.
