I'm in BBA 2nd year, and i agree that college matters.
Because since 2 years I've developed no managerial skills and personality development through my college.
In my college, there are no programmes, competitions, management activities, real life exposure, etc. And i don't expect anything from my placement rounds. There will be companies that will be looking for human labours with outdated degrees.
Although, I've done several online courses beside my college and trying to upscale my personality and mindset.

Hiii sir. I am an incoming undergrad student in India and i really want your opinion and guidance on certain things as I want to delve into the field of finance.
1) Just for the context I'm targetting DU, if I want to get into finance can economics and finance together make a good career. In short, in which way should I fill my preference list for these four courses- BBA(FIA),Eco (h), bcom(h) and BMS.
2) Goal in the next few years is to get a deeper knowledge of finance. Should I opt for a decent college of DU or bsc finance from Narsee monjee, mumbai

Nah bro just take applied maths if you truly wanna make career in commerce field
If your school doesn't have applied maths subject ,then if possible change your school which have applied maths as a school and if it's not then you have to take core maths buddy and try to just be good in that as in your coming days maths will play a significant role in deciding your college . So Best of luck buddy and decide wisely what to do further...........
At least take applied maths. Not having any kind of maths does reduce a lot of options. BMS, BBA, Eco Hons, Stats Hons are some of the prominent courses in DU which require you to have maths

Symbiosis (along with Christ, Shahid Sukhdev, Xavier's Mumbai, NMIMS) are the top 5 colleges for BBA (H) in India.
Christ & Symbiosis has already conducted its entrance exams and results are out so if u haven't applied yet u may have to choose some other college
