Can I leave my bike somewhere without someone else taking it? Can I lock the bike and go to a shop? What if the stations are full to drop off the bike?

Since there are so many stations around, I don't suggest leaving the bike unattended or even using your own lock to leave it. You can use the app to find nearby ports instead. The app tells how many open ports and available bikes are at each station. I suggest checking the app when you are ready to return the bike to see where the best availability is. Happy biking!

@@DC_Detours The concept is pretty impractical. If you want to go shopping or see something, you can't do it without stopping at a station. And what if the station is full? Then I have to drive 1 mile further to park my bike there and then walk 1 mile back. That's stupid
