This video helped me so much man I installed mine on a 20 wrx and on the official IAG video they make it look ridiculously easy i was like wtf...some of these steps literally took hours of struggling. It took me one full day and it got dark on the first day and I missed a breather line for the bypass valve on the charge pipe. It was idling rough and a check engine light came on. I found it the next morning. Also I didn't have assembly lube so I just used a tiny amount of motor oil to help slide the charge pipe back on with the bypass valve connected. Got it all back together and it's running just fine. Thanks again man your video was much more helpful and seeing you struggle made me feel better about it. 😂
I’m new to the WRX, but I’ve modified other cars… I wonder though, why is there a coolant hose involved in this oil catch can? And why do they split the hose to go to the can? For the 2020 WRX (my model) they just have a single hose coming from the coolant to the can. I’m baffled (pun intended)
It will be a little bit different not sure if IAG makes one for the 2014, but I know Crawford Performance does and I think the unit mounts on the driver side by the fender.
@@BLUECOLLARGARAGE thanks man im pretty new to all of this so with that extra hose you were talking about at the end how do I find out where that goes ?
@@abc123361 I believe that’s just a vent hose for your year id have to look back at the instructions to make sure but it’s pretty simple plus the instructions they give are very well written.
Thanks for the video. Is it possible to lower the iag tank to fit the sti front strut tower? A shop did this installation for me .i tried putting on the strut tower but it didn't fit. Any advice.

i know this is a long shot but does anyone know coolant line that is at the 25:00 min mark lol. i was doing this yesterday and when i used vice grips it kind of snagged a hole in it and i need to replace it. i know im not the smartest for this lol
No I didn’t. Since mine is a 2018 the ecu doesn’t have to be relocated. That’s only if the car was manufactured prior to 04/30/17 the ecu needs to be relocated.

Not going to lie . Watching your instruction video gave me confidence to install it myself ! I am ready ! We all appreciate the vid brotha
I was so skeptical on tackling this myself till I came across your video
Great video and quality and detail really appreciated it
Replaced the missing snorkel push pin.. nice!
Hey i appreciate these videos. They give me an idea of what i will face if i decide to do upgrades on my WRX, thanks again.
If you take and squeeze the clamp before and stick a 10mm socket on it, you can just slide it right off when it's where it needs to go
Dope video man I really appreciate the details! I will definitely refer to this video when I put a AOS on my WRX 🤙🏽
Where does the Pcv after you removed from the engine the one you replaced the elbow plastic
Well done you explain everything very good 👍
Great video man🙌🏽 you think the ecu wires are ok up against the AOS as it gets to coolant temps?
Anyone got any idea if the COBB AOS is installed the same way as the IAG?
I have the same q

I have question where the AOS is located I have silver box it’s thin. I thinks it’s ecu where do you relocate it ?
It will come with a new ecu relocating bracket and it moves the ecu over just a little bit off the strut tower
Is there one recommended for a 2015 sti ? There are so many out there
Thanks for this video! Do you think it will be the same process for a 2014 Forester XT?
It will be a little bit different not sure if IAG makes one for the 2014, but I know Crawford Performance does and I think the unit mounts on the driver side by the fender.
great job man thank you so much gunna do mine this weeken!
I have the 2016 and am going to do this myself. Can I just do everything you just did and relocate my ecu at the same time ??
Yep should be pretty much the same procedure, and yes with yours being a 2016 you will have to relocate the ecu.

@@abc123361 no problem. They give you paper ones or a qr scan code for instructions.

Did they have to relocate your ecu?
No, they didn't relocate the ecu.
Hi is this the same for 2015 wrx
Yes same kit only thing different you’ll have to do is relocate the ecu with the provided bracket.
Are there any differences with the 2017 wrx?
No it will be the same procedure.
what headlights are you running

Lol you skipped the whole ecu install

Mine didn’t even come with instructions 🥲
Hopefully this video helps you out then.
