The English subtitle made this become so much more educational to international fan like me, and I can confidently promoting this to my family, coworkers, and friends. I watched this several times already, and each time it brought me so much warmth and peace that I was looking for. Thank you so much for the whole production team and Gulf and everyone in this video who had spent so much time and effort to make this enjoyable and educational at the same time. As an oncology nurse who worked overtime constantly to care for as many patients as I can in this COVID-19, I had been so out of touch with nature for almost two years now. I remember the last time I actually went out was the summer of 2019 at the National Park with my friends. It was such a hot day and after the BBQ, when my friends went for swimming in the lake, I was lying on a lounge chair, under the branch of a big old tree, close to the lake. I closed my eyes, and I can feel the gentle wind blowing on my face with the freshness of the water from the lake, the smell of the earth and leaves wrapped under the tree branch, the sound of all the different birds in the lake. It seems so long ago that I almost lost touch with nature, and as my priority change in this COVID-19, I spent most of my time in the hospital and barely had time for sleep. When I was doing therapeutic phlebotomy for one of my patients, he was so scared that his whole body was trembling slightly and all the veins constricted so much that I could not drain out his blood. Therapeutic phlebotomy is a procedure in which the blood is so thick that I had to drain out ~ 450 grams of blood for this patient to save his life. It is a very big needle that I was using to prevent the blood from clotting while draining so most of time, the patients choose not to look at it. They close their eyes but in their mind, they kept thinking about the #14 gauge needle that is in their vein. Since I watched this video so many times, automatically my first comment to the patient was: "Imagine you are riding your bike through your favorite park. The sun is warm and you can feel the wind blowing on your face, playing willfully with your hair." Then as Gulf travels through the rest of his journey in this video, I guided my therapeutic phlebotomy patient through the same adventure while distracting and relaxing his mind at the same time. It's good that there are so many subjects and background in the video for me to talk to my patients. Surprisingly my patients' favorite part was the pond. I think water somehow brings both tranquility and life at the same time. Butterfly is the preferred subject among female patients. Such as a patient with a Port that I need to access before giving her chemotherapy. "Port" is a type of central line access device that is placed under the skin to receive irritant or vesicant medication such as chemotherapy. To "access" that Port, I need to puncture the skin and sometimes, in female patients, puncture through a lot of fat tissue before the needle reach the Port. Even with numbing medication, the patients can still feel it, and it was torturing for them each time. I found that just spending 5 minutes doing the guided imagery to them right before the accessing process helped to improve their pain level significantly. All my patients can think about when the needle went through their body is the colorful butterflies. As I talked about how Gulf playing with the butterflies, my patients can also feel it laying on their arms and then spread its wings to fly high in the sky. But most of all each time that I went through this video with my patients, I felt that somehow my soul is also at peace and the blood is not rushing to my head in the middle of the hospital's chaos, and for this, I am truly thankful. I think we all need more of this in our crazy lives right now.

Went to Thailand for a semester in 2017, studying Conservation Biology in Mahidol University. The campus itself was beautiful, our friends were friendly & I enjoyed learning there. My plan to visit my friends there however was cancelled due to the pandemic 🥺 Now, thanks to Gulf (& Mew from the previous video in Bang Pu), I’ll have Wachira Benchatat Park on my list ☺️ so far Mew & Gulf did a really great job in promoting the importance of conserving wetlands not only in Thailand, but resonates internationally too. Seeing so much greenery brings that calmness too so I truly enjoyed watching this vlog ☺️
