Haha love this. Must be the only Paradisa themed stop motion video ever. I just recently learned about the Paradisa theme at all and love the 90s positive vibes. I was surprised there's no facebook group so I just set one up now.
Thank you, fransgaard! Yes, Paradisa is a beautiful little theme. It has a very distinct aesthetic coupled with a classic retro LEGO charm that I really enjoy.
Gotta love a fellow's vintage-style brickfilm! Creative twist on the desert traveler looking for water story. Could almost see this being an ad for the Paradisa theme ;)
What a nice and funny tribute to the Paradisa LEGO theme sets, I felt nostalgic when I saw the sets and, of course, our beloved Johnny Thunder, my favorite LEGO original character! Very well made and good luck for the contest ;)
The desert heat is palpable with that blur! Always nice to see a bit of real water and sand too. They're integrated well. And your cinematography is on point as ever!
Honestly I don't think I'll ever witness you making something that isn't great. This may be one of your more simplistic videos, but your cinematography and sound make up for that. I definitely think that this is gonna be in the top 10. Good luck!
Thank you very much, that means a lot to me! Very motivating words to hear. I actually enjoyed keeping things a little simpler this time, I think it works well with the Lego themes used and the setting Johnny is in!
Wow this is really good! It’s always great to see a new Johnny Thunder brickfilm, especially when it’s of this quality. It feels really cinematic, and I love the way you did the sweat effects and showed Johnny slowly getting more tired. Good luck in the contest!
Thank you very much, I'm glad my entry resonated with you. I love Johnny Thunder and the adventurers theme, it is one of my favorite themes of all time!
What lenses do you use? The shot composition is amazing, I know you use a specific filter, but I am looking into more lenses for my dslr and wonder what you use.
I use Canon lenses. Most of my work is shot with the Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM just because it is so versatile. Most people (including me) would argue against zoom lenses but I have been using this for one for so long that I stuck with it and started to really appreciate the fact that I can change focal lengths on the fly.
Seems that all your clips have that "veil-mist-blurry" effect letting aside the sharp contrast. In this case it works fantastic. In other note, your name is just the best ever in this niche.
That was last years letter mod from BRAWL. You have to include a specific letter in each shot to prove that you animated it within the week of the contest.
I too am haunted by LEGO Paradisa.
Johnny Thunder meets Paradisa. This my new favorite brick film. Period.
I'm glad!

Johnny Thunder x Paradisa - the crossover of the century
Such a great entry, and what a wonderful use of the Paradisa sets. Loved seeing Johnny Thunder relaxing in the bubble bath in his swimsuit.
Thanks a lot my friend! :~)
You have my respect for using Heroes and Villains at the end of the vid ✊
It's incredible to think that you've made this just in a week. The cinematography is simply amazing! It's safe to say this is one of the best entries
Thank you so much, very glad you liked it!

Happy you liked it starwarsstudio100! Thank you for the kind words!
Awesome brickfilm, I love Adventurers. Pretty fun how you worked in a Paradisa cameo, wasn't expecting an appearance of another 90s Lego theme.
Awesome, glad to hear you've enjoyed it. A thank you from one autist to another!
That was great! I could feel the heat 🥵
Thats great to hear, happy you liked it!

Very nice cinematic animations. Well done.
Thank you!
Buttery smooth animation, my friend!! Good luck!
Thanks a lot!
I'm always partial to brickfilms that feature old and/or nostalgic themes, but even without that this is a really solid entry.
Thank you very much!
An instant classic. Love the cinematography and the use of the theme was simple yet creative. Love the ambient you created with the music added.
Thanks a lot, love reading feedback like that. Happy you like my entry!
So good! You managed to integrate the letter mod so subtly that I barely noticed it throughout the film. Bravo
Thank you Glin! Happy you liked it!

Me too, would be a dream come true if Lego one day brings it back! But it’s nice to see the theme getting some love in the brick filming community. :)
@@StarBrickStudios I have some plans for future projects with Johnny Thunder! And yeah, anything new adventurers related from LEGO would be very neat.
This is beautiful as always! Love the way you shot everything
Thank you Osomstudios, much appreciated!
This is incredible I especially loved the ending
Thank you Amporoxide! :)

@@OrangeBrick8 A wide focal length paired with screw-on diopters for close focus abilities

This looks great! the sweat on the fact must have been hard to do
Thank you! The sweat was very fun to animate actually. Animated on 4s!
Great video man! Good job 👍
Thanks friend!
This is amazing. What camera do you use?
I used a Canon EOS 650D for most of these shots - except for the wide angle close up at 0:33, for which I used a LogiTech Brio 4K.
How did you create that glowing effect!?
I used diffusion filters from Tiffen
How'd you get the old film look?
Filtration and diffusion.
@@StanleyQBrickAre those filters on a software or something?
@@Broski-TheLlama No, the diffusion is done practically. Check out Tiffen diffusion filters!
