he is unpredictable in concert . He came out with AMERICANA and when I got tickets,, it came with the CD. I went to see him in Tuscaloosa, AL and he dropped a big American flag on stage and they his band saluted it and and SSB. So he is Canadian , but seems like , oh great, a nice lead in to play his Americana songs ....AND THEN HE PLAYED NONE OF THEM and put on a way to loud pathetic concert of some new shit songs off Psy Pill that no one even new about...and made fun of his old songs verbally, "ok here is some old shit" doing a fast medley, half ass and lota people left early just shaking their heads. He is a genius musically at times and true to himself, but a self absorbed idiot as far as Im concerned, never again
Lou Reed considered the guitar playing on "Danger Bird" (ZUMA version i suppose 🙂)to be the best he had ever heard, stating "It makes me cry, it is the best I have heard in my life. The guy is a spectacular guitarist, those melodies are so marvelous, so calculated, constructed note to note… he must have killed to get those notes. It puts my hairs on end!”. (wikipedia)

I'm amazed his vocal capacity hasn't abated one bit. He must keep his instrument in decent shape.
Is that moonshine in the mason jar?
Probably water. He rinses his harmonicas… says gives them a crisp sound.
