Wrong thinking. He's going to be a free agent which means he might be a one year rental like Soto. Trade Gils for a guy we have for 1 year, no thanks!!
@@thefishhobbyist5478he’s not going to go as hard as he did for Soto. Mets needed Soto. They need a face. It made sense for them to do that. Plus I see the Mets going more for Vlad next year
the Yankees pitching is much better now compared to last year i like Williams a guy that can come in and shut people down a career 1.83 ERA you can't ask for better. plus Waever i feel will be lights out as the set up guy if we can't out slug you we can out pitch you that's the Yankees thinking. but we still have to boost the lineup we need a 1B/LF/3B hopefully we land Bellinger and sign Bregman.
the Yankees and Cubs are $10 million apart with the salary for Bellinger but i feel that'll get done it's just a matter of time. i would have liked Santander but if we land Bellinger i don't see a spot for Santander unless Bellinger is your 1B and Santander is the LF.
@Platerpus7 Soto is a hotdog. Yes he's a very good 280 hitter but not an all around ballplayer who is not a very overpaid ballplayer for what he brings to the table. He's certainly not a five tool player like a Dave Parker who was finally and deservedly elected to the Hall of Fame. I think Tucker is a much better all around ballplayer than Soto. It's just my opinion.
Crashman suxxx…Could have signed Tanner Scott for Cash…and KEPT Durbin…to find out if he s indeed a stud(he is) Instead…a 1 yr rental on Williams( a choker in big games) and LOSE Durbin
With you saying crashman already says how ignorant you are. I don’t like cashman but the moves for fried and Williams are great moves. Now it’s time to get bellinger and sign Santana at first. For third base it’s still up in the air.
Tucker a FA next year so Yanks should be in on him.
Cohen already said he wants him.

@@willman43 exactly idk how tf some people dont get that, like the soto shit wasnt a learning experience so far.

And maybe Loasigia could stay healthy for a season and make us even deeper
Im greedy. Let's get Burnes, too, as the number 3rd starter with Gil 5th will make the rotation solid

We need both Bellinger AND Santander

Tucker is way much better than Soto. Tucker is a complete ballplayer.
Cmon no he’s not.
He might be a better all around player but not the hitter Soto is.

Thinking the Yankees will get Belly.
It was time for Nestor to go.
